Staff was wonderful. Accommodations were good. Room was clean. Right in the middle of where we needed to be. Everything was within a 5-10 minute walk. Didn’t drive anywhere, which is great because traffic got heavy during the day and through the evening hours. Provided breakfast was ok. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and tea. We were there to try the local restaurants, so breakfast wasn’t a big thing for us. Staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Mary at Front desk checked us in, she provided friendly and excelent customer service, she was great. Hotel location is perfect walking distance to everything. The room and over all the hotel is very clean, beds and pillows are confortable. Will stay there again.

Front desk service was great, she made sure to show me my room number rather than speak it out loud as there were others in the vicinity. Room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was nice. The tv remote didn’t work great and the AC was difficult to get going.

The price was a little high, as are all prices in Helen. Room was generally clean but bathroom could use a refresh. The sink was a standard bathroom resin sink that had worn through the hard coating. Had been repaired with paint and looked terrible. The tub had loads of mould & mildew in the grout lines. I forgot to request a first floor room at booking and hotel could not accommodate request at check-in. Web page says "free breakfast" which turned out to be a very modest continental breakfast. On the plus side, the location was good and the staff was cheerful and helpful. Will probably not go back to Helen.

The place was very good for the price. The indoor pool room was a fascination for my 7yr old son. The only thing is the handicappped room had a metal projection from the side of the bed that hurt my foot so bad the night of our stay that I had to lay down. I spoke with a repair man passing as we left and he said he would take care of it. Otherwise nice stay.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast is nice. Not a warm breakfast but grab and go items that are more than enough to get your day started. The facility is very clean but just simply old. The bed gets a zero star and we woke up with back aches each day. So it’s nice to have the great staff. Just needs updates and most definitely new beds.

Pros: This is a perfect location for an affordable stay in Helen. Walkable in all directions to anything you want to do. The room was clean, beds comfortable. The staff was great. The continental breakfast was great. Cons: the lighting in the bathroom sink area is very, very dim. There is no full length mirror. So getting ready for your day is a challenge. We ended up with a room that was an adjoining room. The first two nights no one was in the other room, but night three a man with a cough condition stayed and it sounded like he was in the room with us. So keep that in mind for privacy and comfort. Not good sound buffer between rooms.

This hotel is in major need of an upgrade. The pictures online are quite deceiving. I was thankful we were only staying for a night, for had this been part of a longer trip I would have changed my reservations to someplace else.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Operated by locals with very friendly staff. Even had large, name brand shampoo, body wash, conditioner, lotion and hand wash for your use. My wife was ecstatic. Will be staying again. It's an older hotel but upgraded. The newer hotels are not located near everything.

The hotel was conveniently located. Downtown Helen was just down the street. The person at the desk was very helpful and polite. She gave us pointers of what to see and told the history of the town

We absolutely love Helen, GA. We decided to stay there for our 1st anniversary. We rode in on our motorcycle, with that, made for a long ride. We arrived couple hours earlier than the posted check in time. The clerk said she had a room that wasn't used the day before so we could check in to that room. Plus let us do a late check out.
She was very friendly and helpful. The night clerk was just as friendly and helpful. Usually we have crappy service by young people that seem to think customers are bothering them. Not here. We plan to book here when we come back.

Hotel is conveniently located. Clean and quiet. The lady working the morning front desk was very nice and helpful. Had some issues getting the tv to work but got with the night attendant and got a different remote.

The hotel was perfectly located, rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly, nice and ready to assist 24 hrs!! They even called and asked how our rooms were that first evening which was impressive.
Breakfast was good not great but acceptable.
My only 2 complaints was one of the beds was very hard and uncomfortable. Also, our room key card kept deactivating. Numerous times we had to go to the office to get it corrected, although they were nice about it, it was terribly frustrating. That definitely needs to be addressed

The beds were uncomfortable. The towels were paper thin and it took too long for them to bring us extras. The pool was. Loses for most of our stay cause they were trying to figure out the chemicals. The area is beautiful. The property was convenient to everything. They didn’t have an elevator so be prepared to walk steps.

The owner of this motel should have to spend a few night in this room. The AC would not remove the humidity. The bedding was so humid that it felt soggy. The owners know there are issues with the system but continue to rent the rooms and ignore the issue. I would sleep in my car before renting a room at this place again. Best Western should visit this placce again, or read some of the reviews.

The room and hotel itself was very nice and comfortable. Clean towels, clean sheets, clean bathroom with an awesome bathtub. My problem was with the hotel not having any internet AND the entire door handle came off the door. I had to wake my husband at midnight to help me get it back on ( which would come off every time door was opened) We have a family Verizon plan but in the hotel was zero service and front desk said that it has been down a while and did not know when it would be back up. Not fun with a teenager and no internet. I do wish I had at least known and I could have brought a hotspot at least. I paid way more than I usually pay for a night and just a little disappointed about the stay.
