front desk and staff very friendly and get us checked in quickly. very close to sites and shopping. I loved the convenience of walking to paddington station to catch heathrow express train when we checked out

A beautiful hotel - we loved our Executive Room which was very large and comfy, and had a lovely view of the city skyline. Sebastian, the concierge, was outstanding! A true professional - he answered all of our questions, going above and beyond to assist every day. Only downside- there are no eateries near the hotel - fortunately there is a good breakfast buffet at the hotel.

Amazing location, near very convenient public transportation, shopping and parks. Wonderfully renovated rooms albeit smaller than we expected. But this was my second time staying at this hotel in past two years. Says something!

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. From check in, to helpfulness, dining options, customer care and the CONCIERGE service was incredible. The only thing we had to do was enjoy ourselves. It felt like the staff was truly there to make sure we enjoyed every moment, did not worry about anything and made sure we were safe. Felt like we had family watching over us. I cannot wait to go back.

Great family friendly hotel! The staff were very accommodating and brilliant with our daughter. The breakfast was the only thing that slightly let it down, things seemed to always be running low and it would be a long wait for the items to come back out. We saw others ordering from a la Carte but this was never offered to us, it would have been much easier for us as we wouldn’t have had to leave our toddler at the table.

Loved it .. This was an easy stop over hotel it wasn’t as high end as I normally stay however service was amazing and it was safe and clean. Rooms were small and sheets not best quality but we were barely in the room so didn’t want to shell out huge cost for hotel as it was just me and my daughter. Prices were amazing

Luxury hotels can sometimes be uptight and stiff. The facilities and staff at the Royal Lancaster make guests feel welcome and at home, albeit a 5 star luxury home. I was there on an emergency visit to help my brother whose wife died while they were on vacation. The hotel staff bent over backwards to help us. Their efforts mitigated my brother's grief and greatly helped him tend to the matters he had to address even while he mourned. If I could give this hotel 6 stars i would.

Loved this hotel. We had a coffee and pastry downstairs while waiting for our room, and it was the best coffee I’ve had. Everything was beautiful and clean. The breakfast was amazing. S many options! Would definitely come back.

I’ve been to London many times & stayed at many diff hotels. This place was a nice stay. Staff was consistently friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Good location (like 4 blocks to Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express and local tube stops plus a number of restaurants). We could use their tv’s Google Chromecast to watch our Netflix. Only “complaint” was the room size: “deluxe” wasn’t very large. But that was on me to have picked better

Lovely location as just contact Hyde Park. Paddington station is 6-7 blocks and pleasant walk. The room was very comfortable.We didn't eat or drink at the facility.

Excellent location across Hyde Park and near the underground. The Big Bus also stops nearby. Great breakfast buffet. Regular rooms are way to small, so we had to upgrade to a bigger room which was worth the splurge.

It is in a quiet location but next to buses and the Tube, with Paddington Station a few blocks away, so it's easy to get anywhere. Hyde Park is directly opposite, but you may only get that view with upgraded rooms.
I would rather stay here than in more expensive hotels on Park Lane and Mayfair, as they are on busy roads and the traffic is horrendous.
The regular rooms are small, with limited storage and closet space. You have to upgrade to get more space and storage.
The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. My stay went very smoothly.

An excellent location on the edge od the Hyde Park; direct access to Lancaster Gate Central Line tube station and a few bus stops. Less than 10 minute walk from Paddington. Super friendly high level very accommodating service on every level. We'll be happy to come back when in London again.

Location, facility and service was amazing. The only thing that would have made it more dreamy was a more comfortable bed - for reference I am a big fan of the Westin Bed style - this one was not as plush.

If you prefer nature and history, this location is perfect. Upon arrival it was a short walk from Paddington Station when travelling from Heathrow. Directly across the road from Hyde Park and a short walk to Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, and Diana’s memorial. Having a tube station directly underneath the hotel was perfect for the novice London visitor. The concierge, bellhops, hospitality desk, room service, and housekeeping was attentive to every details and very helpful in a timely manor. The rooms are small but efficient. Reminded me of a cruise ship stateroom.

Honestly, liked that a cab was always out front. Breakfast was excellent, room service convenient, concierge helpful. Room spotlessly clean and staff was exemplary.
