The staff was great! I left an item in the room and the manager and housekeeping staff retrieved and sent it back to me the same day.

It’s kept clean and neat. Breakfast served was excellent. Swimming pool area was heavily chlorinated. Unfortunately, the smell could be detected all the way to the 4th floor.

Very dated, staff not very welcoming or friendly.

The bathroom tile grout needed to be clean. The shower curtain had unforsaken stuff on it. The headboard to the bed had other people's greasy heads fingerprints and God knows what on it it was untirable and gross. However, the pillows were great the bed was comfortable and the rest of the room was enjoyable. Would I stay there again absolutely not. I would not recommend this for anyone to stay there. The elevator was extremely noisy opening and closing going up and down unbelievable. The man at the front desk that checked us in sat talking to someone else that was in his earphone in another language. This was while he was checking us in. Which I feel is inexcusable and disrespectful. The breakfast was the absolute worst I have ever had in Hotel chain. Everything was cold. The oatmeal was soupy. To say the least. And it was a very limited breakfast menu. The biscuits were dry and the gravy was supper. When we tried to have cocoa When we arrive there was no hot cocoa in the machine it was just water with God knows what in it. Overall we were not very satisfied with our stay. Other people need to know this.

Loved it

It was much cheaper than any of the motels downtown. It was on a busy street, but set back enough that it was quiet. Parking was easy, checkin and out was simple and fast. We had a nice big suite that was clean and comfortable. We’ll stay there again

Our room was very nice. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again. Thank you.

Was quite neat looking inside and out easy parking everyone very polite and helpful

Pillows were hard and small.Bed was lumpy. Shower had mold on the tiles.

Rooms were dirty and pool room was so chlorinated I could barely open my eyes. Never experienced anything like that before. Chlorine only releases the “chlorine smell” when the water is extremely dirty.

Need more insulation between floors, room above us was noisy all night.

All day furniture except the bed were old and kind of dirty. The floral was so squeaky we couldn't sleep between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. because the people upstairs were awake and walking the floor was squeaking so terribly fell like it will collapse any minute

Spacious rooms, very clean, great place to stay

Great stay other than the people above where loud and played music all night long.

I stayed at this hotel with 3 other friends for 6 nights while we attended a music camp at WMU. All we did was sleep here, as we were at the university from 8:30am until 10pm every day. It was pleasant enough, decent breakfast, and all but one staff member were friendly and helpful. Nothing luxurious, but good value for the money. We will probably stay here again next year.

Though it was an older facility, they kept it as clean as possible. The staff was great! I loved the location to so many restaurants and shops.

I didn't have any problems. Everything was great and the grandchildren enjoyed the pool .Will return one day I truly enjoyed staying there for a week

We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again next time we're in Kalamazoo. The pool was excellent and the bed very comfortable. The only issue I had was that the sheets seemed like they could have been dried a bit more before we they were placed on the bed. The room was spacious.

Nice large room. Great amenities. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!! I had just come from an Embassy Suites stay and this Best Western bed was much more cozy and comfortable! Slept well!

Spent the weekend her with our family for graduation at WMU. The pros: easily accessible to freeway. Safe neighborhood. Close proximity to Western Michigan University. The cons: Looks good from the distance, but the closer you look, you start to notice all of the repairs this place needs. The bathroom doors won’t stay open, so they get very hot and humid, and they are small. We woke up the first morning to water all over our floor, dripping from the room above. I notified the front desk and I’m not sure what they did about it, but it didn’t drip anymore; some follow-up would have been nice. There was water all over the tiled floors from people walking around after getting out of the pool. Saw someone slip and fall because of it. Breakfast was your basic hotel stuff. Nothing fancy, could have used more fruit besides oranges and apples. Overall it was so-so, a place you would expect to spend no more than $125 a night, so for the condition I think it was overpriced.
