The property was unique in every aspect as we had our own front door to walk out of and into the hotel.

The staff were so accommodating and pleasant. The hotel was in a beautiful setting. Great location for the Ironbridge and parks. Lots of nice pubs within walking distance

Unfortunately our first room had an awful odour ((blocked drains). We spoke to staff immediately who were very pleasant but couldn’t help till the next morning as no spare rooms. The second room was much better standard but over looking airconditioning units which were noisey all night, the window didn’t shut properly so couldn’t shut the noise out. Very pleasant staff throughout but expensive room for problems we had.

They booked us in a room over the function room that was having a wedding disco till 12pm. They did not say anything about this when we booked the previous weekend or when we checked in. Given the number of rooms in their adjacent building they should have put some of the wedding guests in our room and put non-wedding guests away from the function room. Alas either greed or ineptitude of the hotel management. To not even say about it when we checked in shows how poorly they thought of non-we’d guests.

Easy check-in / out. Plenty of free parking. Short walk into centre of town. Reasonable price

Fab overnight stay during the half term. Only reason i knocked a point off was the lack of natural light but I liked everything else about the hotel. Staff were great, the food really good and easy walk to all local attractions. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel . The friendliness of the staff ; the beautiful gardens leading into the municipal park (Deep End Dale ); the delicious food served in the hotel restaurant. My only disappointment was that my room did not have a window I could open or any kind of view at all. I thought, therefore, that the money I paid for my room and breakfast was not really value for money .

The location of this hotel was excellent for exploring the town and area as we were able to walk to everything we planned to visit. The staff were wonderful - always friendly and polite and helpful. An interesting old building, maintained to a reasonable standard but felt due for an update in some areas/respects. Our bed was not great and could do with replacement.

We stayed in the older part of the hotel, which is showing its age. Comfortable room, but windows draughty due to corroding metal frames.

Cold room no heating on when booked in at 3;20 no heating in bathroom ie no towel heating or any heating, cold to take a shower shower tray plug took time for water to drain. Did give us portable heater helped a little. Hotel cold anyway so uninviting. charged for coffee with meal then again as hot Beverage so thought i paid twice. Hotel in lovely position by river walk and into Iron Bridge. Second stay at this Hotel would we stay again ? Staff lovely breakfast lovely, should we expect every thing to be good in this day and age or should you just take it as it comes?

Really disappointed that there was extensive noise above my bedroom at 4:30 am. Apparently workmen had returned to their room Hence no sleep after I was awoken. No refund offered for the room, except my evening meal. I’d rather have paid for my meal and had a proper nights sleep. Best Western you should know better!

The place is clean and tidy and the breakfast was lovely. All staff were friendly and polite. Nice Hotel.

Our stay was very good. The staff were excellent and friendly and sorted our initial cold room out quickly and efficiently. Would recommend and return ourselves.

Convenient to visit Ironbridge sites

Stayed at Ironbridge Valley Hotel 17/9/23 to 23/9/23. We’ve been to many hotels together over the last 8 years and have never been more pleased, the staff were amazing and the food terrific so we dined in the on-site restaurant every evening. We were very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the restaurant staff with a special mention to the young members who were superb. We seem to to read nothing but negative news about our 16 to 18 year olds in U K but the young staff were particularly good, they were all helpful, polite, good humoured and efficient, an absolute credit to Valley Hotel. That’s not to say the slightly older members of staff were not wonderful, they were ! We cannot recommend this hotel more highly,11 out of 10. Many Thanks from 4 happy visitors

The hotel is a great base for visiting this part of Shropshire and just a 5 minute walk to THE Ironbridge and the shops. Ample parking. Lovely gardens. Friendly staff. It is old - hence the gorgeous tiles on the ground floor but rooms are rather small and dark as a result. That having been said , we would almost certainly stay there again if we return.

The staff very helpful. Restaurant very good. The shower needed replacing, they had not replaced the leaking shower head but did when we requsted it. The bath was very deep to step into . Realistically the bathroom needs re vampng. The electric shower unit barely worked. There was very little tea and coffee left n the room although when asked thet supplied more. There were no mint teas or earl grey. A small fridge for the room would be an advantage. Thank you for fan and comfortable beds.

The hotel was a bit dated, the room the size of my suitcase with a lovely view of the kitchen fans (witch were very noicy). Luckily was there only for one night and had noise cancelling head phones, so blasting music at loud volume almost managed to drown out the buildings noises. Worst was the complete lack of WIFI which was annoying for business visitor at an area which as notoriously bad phone signal to boot. Service did disappoint as could not have breakfast between 0745 and 0845 as too full.. and dinner was unavailable too for hotel guests, but luckily booked the table online (at hotel restaurant) and managed to get in that way. Definitely not staying there again.

The staff were so pleasant and helpful and I was very pleased with the dining experience such good value and so pleasant. I had a lovely stay.

1. Food in restaurant was over priced. 2. The surfaces in the bedroom were sticky. 3. Room 33. Window was small and couldnt be opened fully so the room became stuffy and hot. You could hear adjoining residents who were very noisy due to thin walls. 4. You couldnt stand under the shower because of the sloping roof. Ridiculous! 5. No pictures of this room are shown online. Ive checked. I would not have booked this hotel if I had seen this room. 6. Hotel is in a great location.

Quiet hotel with pleasant grounds and easy walk to the river. Really good restaurant. Plenty of parking. Pleasant room with balcony.

Well positioned for walking to the Ironbridge. Attractive grounds. Helpful, attentive staff. Bathroom sadly lacking, fixed head shower over bath with no handset. Toiletries of poor quality, no shampoo or conditioner and tiny handbasin soap. Although happy to re-use towels, there is no way to dry them so the next day they were still very damp. Not pleasant!

Amazing hotel all staff so friendly food excellent
