Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Loved the small bar area and the outdoor patio tables. Walking distance to town which was a big plus for us.

only 3 min walk to beautiful beach, train station, and great restaurants, very nice pool area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a deluxe double and it was spacious and fitted with modern conveniences. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The location is great, an easy walk everywhere but off the beaten path.

For a small boutique hotel, they had everything, and the staff is as helpful as you will find in the industry.

The staff have been very nice and very helpful. They even let us use an umbrella when it was raining.

Well located property with comfortable rooms and very nice staff. Rooms appear to be recently updated. Common areas - bar and sitting rooms are a bit uninspiring but we didn’t use them. Nice pool and seating area. Only negative was that a freestanding umbrella blew over hitting one of us, otherwise all really good. Close to shops, beach, bus and train. Lovely area.

Our stay at Hotel Carlton was fabulous. Lovely room, well proportioned and renovated. Beautiful building and clean large pool area. Had the breakfast which was continental and the bar area was good and Art Deco dressed with good cocktails. No extensive room service or lunch options but in that area why would you stay in. Locale is as good as it gets. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

This hotel is one of the best my wife and I have ever stayed at in France. Staff was great, room was better than expected and the breakfast was excellent.

The property is situated in a quiet and safe residential area with very close proximity to the beach (this was awesome) and shopping. My room was great and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in providing directions and information. Easy access to Bus #100 (became by best friend), allowed me to visit Nice and Monaco with ease as well as all the towns along the Riviera between Nice and Monaco. This was an awesome property for me and I will visit again.

We took the train into the local station easy 6 min walk even with our small luggage. The hotel staff was very friendly and easy check-in. The pool was very nice and the hotel supplied towels. The room was quiet and spacious. Local beach is about 5 min walk - we walked towards Cap-de-Ferret which had some great views and nice beach. The train station was close and took multiple day trips to local areas without any issues. Would def go back to the hotel for the location, price and friendly staff.

Nice 4 star hotel, comfortable, good sized rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast simple but okay, hot option is just eggs and bacon. All help yourself including coffee/tea from a machine. The issue we had and this won't apply to everyone, was our housekeeping was terrible. She didn't replace our coffee/tea sachets in the room, or spoon, on any of the 4 days we were there, so we had nothing after using it on the first morning. We even left the tray out so she could see it was empty, but she just closed it. She barely did anything except make the bed, didn't even put the top cushions etc back on. Not impressed at all but the people on reception said they would speak to her and that it seemed to just be 1 particular person on 1 particular floor, so hopefully will get sorted out soon! Great location for visiting the local area. Nice swimming pool too.

Excellent hotel. Only quibbles were a lack of a Chair in the room and a full length mirror.

Four day stay to celebrate an anniversary. Close to train station if you are travelling on foot and a pleasant flat walk to town and promenade . Excellent breakfast and convenient for variety of local eateries. Entire hotel refurbished top to toe and longstanding staff delighted with the transformation which is reflected in their attitude to welcome and please guests. Rooms comfortable and stylishly decorated in keeping with Belle Epoque character of building. Heated , deep swimming pool and patio with shaded loungers . Well maintained garden with hibiscus pots . Quiet residential area apart from playground of a local school to front .Pleasant breakfast dinning room , separate lounge and piano bar. and meeting room overlooking pool. We would definitely return if staying in area again.

I had business in Monaco and room and hotel was great for my wife while I was away.Map attached to print out off booking was inadequate
