Very convenient for the Lille Stadium, but also quiet.

A comfortable stay in a convenient location for the stadium, and metro into the centre of Lille. Friendly staff and a good selection of traditional food. Room had no curtain, just netting, and the tap water ran slow.

The staff was very helpful and always eager to help. Location is also strategic and close to all ideal family hideouts. Our only improvement point would be the rooms could have been cleaner. When we checked in there was a lot of dust in the room and we requested they clean but that did not happen.

Close to the stadium so it was easy to attend the concert there.

Hotel is pretty dated, beds are uncomfortable and there’s no air conditioning. We left the windows open and all we could hear was people screaming and shouting all night.

Great staff, and a perfect location for the football. Had a nice meal in the hotel as well so would happily recommend.

The hotel is being refurbished. It is not in a condition to host guests. I left a complaint with the Manager. She agrees that the hotel should be shut. She said it is a decision from her management.

Overnight stay for business to visit clients in the Villeneuve DAscq area. A little tricky to find, turns out to be very close to the Stadium. A short drive to the centre commercial.Comfortable, clean and easy parking. Enough choice for breakfast. Very slow broadband.

Room was cheap and had everything I need for a single night stay. Free parking too area is fine and by university - I locked up motorcycle here with no issues. Town is a metro ride away which runs until late. Staff were helpful, breakfast was good but extra cost. No safe in room.

The hotel was a step up from student halls of residence but otherwise pretty basic. That said, it was clean and everything worked as it should. Lot of corridor noise but otherwise location is quiet at night. The staff were very efficient and the breakfast was good. Considering they were overrun with football fans the 1st night of our stay, the staff did a magnificent job getting the hotel bar, toilets and restaurant area back into immaculate condition the before the following morning's breakfast

Stayed near the stadium for the Euro soccer game. Very convenient for that. Rooms were clean and compfortable, but small. Service was very nice. Not much in the immediate neighborhood except the university. A few nice restaurants about a 10 minute walk near the stadium

A basic hotel - mainly useful for proximity to football stadium and university - that said front desk were accommodating - spoke English, ordered cabs etc.

The hotel is not far from the metro station (5 min walk) and about 25 min on metro from Lille-Europe station. I chose this hotel because of being close to a meeting venue. My first impression was really bad. The restaurant was closed at 5-6 on Sunday and there was nothing nearby. I had to take the train to city to find some place to eat. The reception could not speak English. Next days were better but not great. The wifi was constantly disconnecting. Next time I will simply not stay there.

One night stay on business, arrived late on Sunday and no restaurant so had to go out (after 4 hours drive), but internet, shower, lighting and space were fine. Breakfast was good and Hotel was totally quiet at night so slept well.

Comfortable hotel, beds a bit hard, bath is pleasant for relaxing.

Went to a Lille football game. Hotel is right around the corner. Très bien situé.

The sound insulation was pretty bad. Luckily, my neighbors were not noisy. Otherwise, it would have been a terrible stay.

Asked for non-smoking room, got a smoking one. The room didn't smell cigarettes, but the main hall did (even in non-smoking sectors of the hotel). A few cars that were parked overnight in the hotel's car park had their windows broken by burglars. And it seems it has happened two nights in a row and no one saw or did anything about it.

In a quiet environment. Walking distance to a metro station. Couple miles from downtown but metro station distance gives you enough comfort.

Stayed here for the Lille football match against Everton as it was such a short walk to the stadium with free parking. Arrived an hour before check-in but as there was a room ready the receptionist let us check-in and drop our bags in the room before we went into town. There are two Metro stations close by that will take you into the centre of Lille at the cost of €1.40 for a one-way trip that takes roughly 15 minutes depending on where you're getting off. The bar was well priced compared to what we were paying in the Grand Place though it had stopped serving after the match, only those eating in the restaurant were being served. The rooms aren't that fancy but that's not why you stay here, it's a place to sleep and have a shower. It does that job perfectly.

Ok basic room for the price. Clean and very quiet at night. Corridors smelt a bit and the motion sensor lighting seemed to spend more time off than on. I wouldn't want to have been a solo lady guest in those often dark corridors.

Arrived at about 8.30pm after a long drive through France to what was a last stop before getting the ferry home to England at the end of a 3 week road trip. Hotel was well out of the way on a business park with no other amenities locally. The hotel itself was dated, rooms a bit shabby with poor mattresses and pillows on the beds and on a hot night, the fact that there was no air conditioning in the rooms made it more uncomfortable. None of the facilties were available, the restaurant was closed and besides the night porter we appeared to be the only people at the hotel. The porter was however amazingly friendly, helpful and welcoming. He opened up the bar so we could have a couple of drinks and also ordered us some takeaway pizzas so that we could have some thing to eat (as I said there was nothing else available locally, except a drive back into Lille otherwise). Overall wouldn't recommend this hotel as their must be better ones around Lille, Lens or Calais but if you run a hotel and need a good night porter you could do a lot worse than to go and poach this guy.
