Definitely not kept up. Room was pretty trashy and really beat up. Door didn't close without a lot of slamming it.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

Property and rooms in very poor condition. Sheets were discolored, walls cracking, holes in walls were filled but not painted, tv cable chords hanging from the ceiling, etc….

Wow this hotel left a lot to be desired. Most everything was old, worn and dirty. So many bathroom hairs. The walls had stains I tried not to think about. Bathroom counter didn’t look clean. Smoke detector in the room covered with a plastic bag. Cords and wires everywhere. Super uncomfortable pillows. I’d like to say I got what I paid for but it was way too expensive for what was happening there. The woman at the front desk was kind!

The bathroom was very dirty, there were cobwebs all over, the walls were filthy. The tub looked like it had been cleaned but the sink did not, the vent above the tub was so covered in dust, it was just caked on. The sheets looked to have been changed but there were cables running on top of the wardrobe thing and what I assume was the router or something was dangling from above the tv. There were people hanging outside of the doors, not for just a smoke break but for multiple hours just sitting on the curb.

Small room, but clean and comfortable. Small issue with toilet, that can happen anywhere. Staff friendly and polite.

The pictures online was different then in person. The room didn’t have a clean smell to it. I saw spiders and drain flies in the bathroom. The pictures of the bathroom showed a full bathroom with a tub, when we walked in it looked like a locker room. It in fact not only did not have a tub but the shower floor was connected with the toilet so we had to wash up with our crocs on. It was hair in the bathroom and under the mattress. It was the worst experience of my life. I have paid for better hotels for half the price I paid for staying at this place. It needs to be shut down immediately. I did not get pictures because I couldn’t stand to have that disaster saved in my phone

This location is just down the street from the Senior apartment where Mom lives. We have used it many times. The property needs some upgrading, walls need painting a repairing as it has been there for some years.

Easy to get to & good staff. Had noisy people adjacent to my room & the staff handled it very well.

The property was fine, but not amazing. There are wall to wall mirrors above the beds which I did not like or understand and which should be removed. There was also an unpleasant, old, stale smell in the room itself as well as the hallways and the bathroom smelled of stale smoke. Breakfast was standard continental breakfast, again, not amazing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well.

Easy and quick check in and check out. The facility and room was nice. The hot breakfast was great.

This was a pretty nice hotel and location was great. Our only issue was our bed was uncomfortable & too firm for us! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!!

Everything was great. The only issue was the musty odor, maybe coming from the air conditioning.

Was good value for Holland area. We felt that the beds were much too hard and limited bathroom space

Pros: The staff was friendly. Our bed sheets and towels were clean. There was a variety of breakfast items. Cons: our room had an overall dirty feel to it. It always smelled musty, even with our AC running the entire time. There was mold in the top corner of our bathroom ceiling. The hair dryer cord was visibly dirty. The conditioner bottle in the shower didn’t work. The tv remote control felt grimy. I could tell the carpet was also dirty because I had a pair of clean white socks I only wore in the room that visibly dirty later. Parts of the walls were dirty (underneath the night stand by the outlet) and scuffed up. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Service was good. Room just needed a little more detail cleaning.

Nice and quite

Property and grounds were were clean decent. Front desk agent "Becca" provided SUPERB customer service. The isdue was with guest room.Upon arrival, we were given a room thsy wsd dedignated as "pet friendly"; however we did not request a pet friendly room...It smelled like a zoo! The kind front desk agent Becca gave us anothet room. The room was acceptable. Except for the HEAVILY SOILED mattress on the sofa bed. The mattresd had multiple stsins tvat apleared to be dried urine. Since we were exhausted from a long drive and had already switched rooms, I slept on the window nook in the room because I could not sleep on that filthy mattress. The next morning. I went to front desk and showed photos of the HEAVILY SOILED sofa bed mattress to Becca. She was very apologetic and offered to have another mattress brought to the room. I declined because I had gotten comfortable using the sleeping nook by the window. Hotel management should be encouraged to check the condition of all mattresses periodically. The condition of that sofa bed mattress was deplorable! Were it not for the helpfulness of the front desk rep Becca, I would have given this property zero stars.

This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom was dirty. There were visibly filthy handprints on the wall, and there was also a pubic hair stuck to the wall. There were also holes in the wall in the bathroom. The room was ALWAYS humid--so humid that paper would curl. The carpet always felt damp. There were smudges on the mirror in the main area, and there were drip marks going down the wall and on the desk as well. We paid over $200/night to stay in this rundown hotel. It did not live up to my expectations, as I have stayed in Microtel previously, and this was nowhere near the quality I had experienced. The front desk staff would take smoke breaks right in front of the front door. There were workmen/repairmen working on the hotel, and they were smoking pot right near the side entrances. The whole experience was very off-putting, and I won't be staying in Microtel again.

Dirty and smelly

The staff was friendly. Didn’t like that people smoked right outside the front door. The room had an odor and there were raisins stuck to the carpet.

Door was ajar when we got to room. Bathroom had loose floor tiles. Hallway smelled bad. Paid way too much for what I would qualify a 1 star hotel. Shame on me for not staying somewhere else

The sheets were dirty so we complained and someone came and put new sheets on and the new sheets were also dirty.

It’s a short drive to downtown Holland. The front desk clerk at check-in was very hospitable. The only issue we had was that we were not able to shower because the shower lever in the tub faucet was physically broken. This should have been addressed prior to releasing the room for a booking.

It's fine for the price. I wanted something not too expensive and close-ish to town.
