NEVER AGAIN !!!
WHAT A SHAME
Hotel is pricey.
Dinner at their restaurant ( super expensive) not that good but service pretty nice.
then comes the time of the check out.
They asked me to pay the restaurant a second time, i litteraly paid right after the meal, but in cash so no proof.
After close to one hour , 6 ppl and checking the cameras they found out that yes, we paid.
I had a flight to take , lost one hour for nothing. Didn't spend a nice honeymoon there.
Servers tought it was a tip, but we gave a little bit more that the amount.
I am fuming and i will say to everyone no to go there.

The property was amazing having all of the amenities on campus. There was an oversight on the VIP access so we didn’t have the full experience.

This place was amazing!! We did all of the waterfall hikes, and they were a highlight of the trip. This was our favorite lodging of the 3 places we stayed during our 11 days in Costa Rica. The trails are well maintained and we’re all doable for our 5 year old daughter. The hot springs are also beautiful and so relaxing. The Canopy bar was our favorite restaurant. All of the staff members were very kind and helpful. We want to go back soon! If you want to visit Rincon De La Vieja, you must stay here!

Nice hotel with loads of amenities and activities within the national park. Free hot springs. The only thing you have to consider is that you will always be eating in the hotel restaurants since there isn't anything within good distance. It's not a big deal since the restaurants are nice.

If you want a nice quiet relaxing vacation this is it. The place is a little rustic but you barely spend any time in your room. The hiking trails are amazing. The hot springs and water falls are to die for. Remember you will be staying in the mountains so bugs and wild life are everywhere. I would definitely make a stay here again!!!! Breakfast which is included was amazing everyday.

We loved the fact that we had access to the whole waterfalls hikes and hot springs.
We loved the breakfast.
Dinner was ok didn’t like the fact that you had to reserve.
We ate at the bar a couple of times, but choices were limited.
We didn’t want to venture to town at night.
I loved the birds and nature all around us.
We would have preferred more privacy between our cabins.
We couldn’t really sit out in the front or the back without seeing our neighbors come and go.
But those were minor details, we really enjoyed this beautiful heaven on earth.

Front desk very un professional and rude. It's was a terrible stay I did not got room upgrade cause it's was hotel was full. I had extra a guess I had to pay for other room across building. Would I stay again no would I recommend to some else no.
It's all about the Money. Expedia should not have this hotel top rate it. That was my ipionon and and experience.

Property is beautiful. However, I got robbed at the SPA!! Do not leave your items inside the locker room. They will open your bag and take your money. Never going back!

Reserved this property strictly for the gluten free dining options. The rest was a wonderful surprise! The hiking and waterfalls were amazing. The hot springs and mud bath were a relaxing treat. We paid extra for the zip line and river tubing which was the highlight of our trip. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Just wish there were some nighttime activities or entertainment.

Amazing place, so many different activities are included in the stay, we enjoyed it a lot. Don’t expect to be able to leave the hotel so easily since it is up a hill for 30 min from Liberia.

Excellent service. The food was really good. We loved being able to hike to the waterfalls and being so close to the National Park entrance. The only downside were the mosquitoes! We had so many bites.

This was a nice pace to visit. We were on the beaches for days, was a nice break to go to the mountains. Go hiking we saw many animals.

We loved the property. What a wonderful place to build a resort! It is so pretty around there! The two gentlemen playing music made our stay so comforting and nice.
We loved the pool and the snack shop attached to it.
The food was awesome at the restaurant and bar. The staff was so friendly and helpful! The waterfalls were lovely and we had so much fun on the walks and in the hot spring baths.
We also had to seek out the medic for a couple of things and he was the BEST!!
