The hotel was clean and tidy but we had no hot water so had to shower with cold water no a good start when we going to a funeral

Lets stick with the positives...
If you have an electric car... the is a reassuring supply of power from the Diesel Generator situated right outside the window that powers on randomly... not only does this mask the noise from the HGV's, it also doubles as a massage bed, vibrating nicely through the mattress...
If youre staying over for a flight from Stansted, no need to set an alarm, the flow of other travellers melodically banging cases on your door as they pass, testing their vocal range will ensure youre wide awake in time for your flight!

Short stop over before an early flight. Room was nice and comfortable. Not spotless clean with a dirty spoon and hairs on the sink but overall can’t complain with the cheap price. Would definitely use again.

Very convenient on the services 10 minutes from Stansted airport. Had an early flight. Slept well, quiet room great shower free parking!

Done a booking with two rooms but issues finding our other room .

We stayed for two nights everything went smoothly staff were very friendly and were always ready to assist especially Karolina. The rooms where clean and comfortable. It was an overall good experience.

Pros:
- good price compared to other hotels in the area
- easy accessible if you come by car
- there is an oasis nearby with food court and everything
- staff really nice
- they can store your baga before check-in or after check-out
- the bathroom was clean
Cons:
- there was a strong smell coming from the carpet on the left side of the bed (room 116)
- there is limited transportation by bus at night
- the taxi, Uber, Bolt from airport to the hotel is around 30£
- there is no shuttle bus
- there is no central heating/cooling, they provide you with an electric heater and a cooling fan (which is very noisy, so no chance to sleep with it turned on)
- the building itself is very noisy, thin walls.
- there is no fan in the bathroom, after taking a shower you have to let the steam and humidity out in the room.

Shannon at the front desk was the most helpful front desk person. He worked so hard to make sure we were accommodated with a fan since there aren’t air conditioners and it was hot in London when we went. He helped with the Uber Eats and did a bunch of research to help track down the lost Uber Eats delivery, that ended up being raw chicken sandwich. (Don’t eat at SoBe Burger)
Again very helpful with travel as well. Hooked us up with the best bus routes and making sure our early morning trip to the airport went well. He’s the real O.G. At this hotel.

Ideal for overnight airport stay, although no facilities for an evening drink & relaxation. Bed was comfortable but noisy from aircaraft taking off & landing.

This hotel is located at what we would call a travel rest-stop along the highway. It is close-ish to the airport, yes, but navigating without a car is difficult. If you have a vehicle, I think this is a fine hotel.
If you are flying out of Stansted and get here via train/bus, it's difficult.
There are no dining facilities at this hotel, however staff helpfully directed us across the car park to another hotel (where the chicken wings were fantastic!!).
There is a bus stop across the highway, but although we waited for nearly 50 minutes in the rain, all 3 buses that drove by during this time had routes included the airport but did not stop. We ended up returning to the hotel to call a taxi.

What you’d expect from a cheap stay before a flight! Clean, had towels and soap etc.
Quite noisy (as it’s so close to airport) but a decent stopover. Staff friendly and helpful!

Arrived 1230 for an anticipated 1900 departure.
Needed sleep after long flight before flying again.
Arrived to be told check in was 3pm and when I explained the situation although they had rooms ready to go they wouldn’t release until I paid an early check in fee. For a 6 hr stay!!!

Given that we were stopping over on the way back from the Latitude Festival anywhere with a comfortable bed and a decent shower would have seemed palatial but the Days Inn at Stansted exceeded my expectations. The price was great a comfortable double with a single and a truckle was plenty of room for a family of four with two teens, check in was easy and every member of staff was lovely. A brilliant stay.

As we had never stayed in a days inn before we isn’t know how basic it would be and was pleasantly surprised. We were checked in swiftly and the family room was spacious and not cramped at all for two adults and 2 children. Beds were comfy and clean, tea and coffee facilities were available and a walk in shower was a nice touch. The corridors had a few bumps and scratches but the rooms were decent. For the price, convenience and locality it was a big plus for us.

The windows in our room were not fitted correctly and were essentially open all night. This is not ideal when situated next to a busy airport. We would have been better sleeping in a tent at the end of the runway.
A bus load of teanage tourists arrived shortly after us and proceeded to scream, shout and generally run amok between 9pm - 6am completely unchallenged by hotel staff. Fortunately, this activity stopped when I hung one of them by his feet from their poorly fitted 2nd storey window.
In summary, if you want a good night's sleep before flying out, don't bother staying here. You'd be better taking your chances on a bench at the airport.

Disabled toilet room which was difficult to deal with as large obstacles in the way.
Location far from Gatwick and limited transport at night you are better to pay more to stay closer to the airport as you end up paying the extra on an Uber if there are no buses running.

The room itself was fine, clean an tidy, how ever the tv didn’t work!!! It killed me, was going to go to reception.. but the nice lady at desk, well I don’t think English was her first, second or even third language… she did tell me something was open 24hours… didn’t know what tho… so apart from the non speaking English lady an the tv ohh an the cheap windows so you hear every plane an hgv passin!!!! It was ok.
