Very well-kept, comfortable and peaceful. Breakfasts are wide-ranging and cater for all dietary needs. The staff really enhance the stay. All of them are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very nice. We had a large room which was comfortable with a good shower and plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and we ate in the restaurant twice both meals quite acceptable.

On check in we were told to avoid the hotel and car park around 6pm as it was prom ight and lots of school leavers and parents would be arriving. There was no room to park our car as the car park was packed solid with fancy cars an artic wagon and double horse and carriage dropping off and parents cars abandinded everwhere On the second night the noise from a wedding party was ridiculous as the evening was warm the guests chose to party in the carpark. If i had known the events were booked i would not have booked this venue. I feel this information should have been offered when booking. Staff however were friendly and polite. The room was comfortable with a view of the car park. The bathroom was clean but showed wear to the bath where the panel was rotten and black with damp. 1st stay will holiday inn and will be my last back to premier inn for us!

Cheerful and most hopeful staff, Good clean tidy room, great nights sleep. Good evening meal and a lovely breakfast with a large choice.

Excellent place to stay with a real Yorkshire welcome. Bed too soft for me, but that's a personal quirk. Meal also good in restaurant

Very nice hotel for a simple night away

The room is very tired and in need of major refurbishment including electric and bedside lights. the room was supposed to be an accessible room but as a wheelchair user, it was far from accessible. the toilet was too low the safety rail between the shower and toilet was not safe and falling away with rust. the shower head and rail are falling off and broken. when a neighbor uses their facilities, it can all be heard through the drains. the sink is not accessible from a wheelchair nor are the soaps. All in all, the worst holiday Inn we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot over the years, the first being The Post House in Chrick now a Holiday Inn in 1973. The Staff are lovely and welcoming and we did report some of the items to them. we were told it is up for refurbishment but we will not be staying here again until that has been completed

Comfortable

We were in room 103 and there was a serious issue early in the morning (6.30 ish. am) with the plumbing. A series of rumbling noises follow by a strong foul smell coming up from the shower drain. We had to have the window open fully on a bitterly cold morning. We called reception and Ben came up but there was nothing he could do. Eventually it stopped but it has put us off using your company again .

Room was clean and tidy bed was comfortable had all the requirements needed for a comfortable stay but breakfast was terrible not worth £3 nevermind the £12 we paid for 2 of us would recommend not getting breakfast when stopping here

great helpful staff

The room and staff were good, parking was very good and free. Breakfast was ok but the evening meal was disappointing.

Family and I stayed a night while attending a football game. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lady at reception who investigated town centre parking options for us. Room spacious and quiet, and a well cooked buffet breakfast the next morning. All for a very reasonable price. Excellent.

Stayed over with a trip to Cannon Hall Farm

The rooms in this property are tired and in need of some renovation. My room had stained carpets and a damaged shower which was almost unusable. Reception staff were very pleasant

Hotal good,clean.Staff friendly and helpful. They's no pool or gym as thought they was , reason for booking,but they's a swimming pool about 2miles away.Room had comfortable bed and a good shower room. Restaurant have friendly staff and the food was very good. The location is easy to get to and good for sightseeing.

An ‘alright’ stay - our stay unfortunately clashed with a wedding; the hotel is a bit tired but okay. Breakfast was average. Helpful and polite staff.

Lovely staff, nice quiet area. Large room with plenty of space. Maybe a little bit tired but still presentable.

Very pleasant staff

Hotel seemed ok. Rude staff on arrival. Awful neighbours, one who couldn't stop using the toilet and one who was blaring their TV until 3 in the morning despite being asked not to. After finally turning it off, they then turned it back on at around 7am. Paper-thin walls meant you could hear all of this as if it was in your own room. Avoid this hotel if you enjoy sleeping.

Everything was absolutely fine. Breakfast well worth having.

As a disabled family we were very impressed with the link bedrooms.104. 105. I think. It worked really well for us. We were so well looked after.

I found the check staff lady, surely, scruffy and short with me when I asked a question… have any of the holiday staff ever been to European holidays inns ??? Embarrassing to this country. Hotel was tired shape.

The area is great can’t fault that. The hotel lobby bar etc are well decorated and look quite posh. But the rooms are not. They are run down. The chair were frauds and falling apart and smelt. The bathroom had mould around all the seals. The mattress was well used and just pulls you straight into the middle. Whilst the location of this hotel is prime the actual hotel is not worth staying in.
