Compared to other Hampton Inns, Greenville is half as good as say, Fayetteville AR.
The room was smaller for the same price.
The breakfast had far less options, not even milk.
The night auditor was a little rude.
The towels weren’t folded properly.
One of the blinds was hung improperly, allowing in more light than one wants with blackout shades
The drain ditch behind the pool is a literal mosquito farm….
But the room was very clean!

I booked 1 night due to renovations on my house. Checked in at 5:00 smooth check in, went to my room and swiped the card and the door was locked from the inside, I went back to desk and the lady said she could fix it and grabbed and coat hanger and a homemade tool, she said if the door was slammed too hard it would lick from the inside. She worked and worked, but couldn’t get it unlocked. I was put into another room. The lobby had coffee & hot water for tea, I poured a cup of water for tea and the water was cold. The building is older and the room smelled musky, the TV is not easy to work, channels are hard to find. I was disappointed in this hotel.

Nice pool and hot tub area. Person on duty was a bit rude when the pool closed, and there was bugs in the water in both the pool and hot tub. There were also chiggers all around the pool area in the grass. We got eaten up by all the bugs. There were also bugs in the room only one found, but that is enough to never stay there again. The updated layout was poorly done, and they completely missed the stair wells.

The clerk at check in was talking to another employee at length when we arrived and we had to wait for her to acknowledge our presence. She also did not smile at all.
The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful with the free breakfast. Would have liked some bacon to go with our eggs. Also the eggs tasted like they had been frozen or overwhipped.
The room was nice, clean, and smelled good. The bed was super comfortable and firm.

The only thing I should have done was put up the do not disturb plaque Our maid started at 9:30 knocking at our door, not waiting for us to come to the door and opening our door. Not once but 4 times she did this. Checkout wasn't till 11:00 but finally at 10:30 we had enough! Reported it to the front desk. We were trying to kill some time time before we had to meet some family for lunch. Other than that the hotel was outstanding. Never had this to hapen at any other hotel.

I like that the hotel staff was accommodating in moving my family to a different room due to the noise and what I didn’t like is that visitors with pet didn’t have leashes on their pets. We were in the common area when two dogs unleashed ran towards us and jumped on us.

Had to walk to room 301 through drywall dust. The smoke detectors were covered with tape the whole time; unsafe down long hall. Fire extinguisher key taped to door; unsafe. No work on hall whole weekend; should have made everything clean and safe for weekend. Only cold coffee in lobby Sunday morning; finally hot fresh at 7:15. Only half roll of TP in room, had to ask for another.
