Taodomus is beautifully renovated boutique hotel with superbly attentive staff. Breakfast on the roof is a feast of elegantly prepared delicacies. It is within the medieval gates of Taormina, a few minutes’ walk from the ancient sites and close to dozens of restaurants, bars and pizzerias. That’s a plus if you love window shopping in dense crowds of tourists. If not, you may want to search for a place off the well-beaten path.

Absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. It was beautiful with delicious breakfast and cocktails. The reception had excellent recommendations for activities and food.

We highly recommend this hotel for exploring Taormina. A perfectly central location, we walked all over and had access to so many great restaurants and shops. The hotel was charming, our room comfy and clean. The breakfast on the rooftop was outstanding with lots of local foods to choose from. A shout out to Daniele and Emanuele - they were so hospitable and we enjoyed talking to them. And thank you to the two women that worked during breakfast!

Room is very nice and comfortable. Front desk is extremely helpful and booked an excursion for us that was wonderful. Breakfast was tasty. However, be aware that there are lots of stairs. Breakfast is served on roof. 5th floor. We stayed on 4th. The elevator was broken our entire stay of 4 nights. Not a problem for us, but for others could be a very big deal. Located on the Main Street. Extremely convenient to shopping and dining. Near catania gate so also close to taxi drop off/pickup.

Fantastic! Beautiful hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. We were getting picked up by a taxi at 8am when checking out. Breakfast was at 8.30, so the hotel organised breakfast for us especially, at 7.30am. We were so appreciative of their offer. Would absolutely definitely return and recommend. There is no pool but they have an agreement with a hotel nearby, to use their pool for a daily fee of 15 euros. That pool was also in a lovely location overlooking Giardini Naxos.

The Hotel Taodomus is a hidden gem. I was in Italy for 2 1/2 weeks and it was by far my favorite hotel. The staff were amazing, both welcoming and helpful. Our room was beautiful. The hotel was recently renovated so everything is new and of high quality.The location couldn’t be better. It is just a few minutes walk from the train station, restaurants, shopping, and the town plaza. Also, the breakfast on the balcony is delightful and delicious - with an amazing view, a buffet, and a menu you can order from. I highly recommend this hotel.

Simply a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful property but the standout was the staff. They could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was a perfect way to start the day. We could not have been happier in the hotel. A special thanks to Valentina, Daniele and all the staff. We hope to see you again at some point.

Great property, great staff, great location

Enjoyed a memorable two-night stay at the exquisite Hotel Taodomus just inside the Catania Gate. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who intends to spend a night or more in beautiful Taormina.

Location is amazing, service is unbelievable friendly and very very efficient.

We loved this little gem that were situated on the main street of Taormina. Great location. The rooftop terrace where you have direct view of Etna was amazing. Very beautiful room with comfortable beds and high quality sheets. Very serviceminded reception and they were happy to help us with tips of what to see and do in Taormina and surroundings. Would love to stay there again!

I have worked for hotel for over 20 years so I am very picky about choosing the right hotel for my vacations. I love the Taodomus hotel, it is on the main street so it is extremely convenient! The hotel and the room was very clean so we were very pleased. Luca was very helpful during check in, very polite.Judith and Serena were great and took care of us during breakfast, having breakfast at the roof terrace with those amazing views was just breath taking. Valentina gave us wonderful recommendations, the agency for the Etna Tour was amazing and Giorgio, our guide, was SUPERB! The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the hotel does not have IRON for the guests and when you are attending a wedding this is very important. We traveled from Miami so it was far, therefore the clothing needed some pressing but NO IRON! Luckily I called my friend who was staying at the Continental Hotel, just a block away. When I told her about it, she said "your fancy hotel does not have an iron??" Anyway, it was my friend who saved us with her iron. Would I still recommend this hotel, ABSOLUTELY, it is an awesome hotel with great staff. It seems that a prior guest had an accident with an iron so now all the guess are paying for it. My advise have an Iron available, get a deposit of 100 EUR and tell the guest they can have it for 30 minutes. Last but not least, we had a Classic room and our bathroom's window looked at the ETNA Volcano, we even got to see its eruption, AMAZING!

It's a small, beautiful, charming and welcoming hotel perfectly located along the main pedestrian street in Taormina. What distinguishes this place is the great terrace which is used for breakfast and and evening aperitifs and offers a great view of Mount Etna and the Sea. The staff was very helpful and friendly! We'd book again!

The entire staff was so very friendly. Great Breakfast. Clean rooms with a view of the walk way. Very helpful staff. Balcony upstairs the view was fantastic. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne that was given to us for our 50th. anniversary on the upper deck and a beautiful rainbow was out. The women sure do know how to run this place.Everything was immaculate. We would highly recommend this Hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I even called them on our way there to ask where we should park, which was easy and very close to the hotel in a public lot. The town is beautiful, and the location of the hotel was perfectly situated in a conveniently central location, but was also peaceful. I would absolutely visit again and echo others about the incredible rooftop breakfast!

Perfect location. Amazing cooked to order breakfast and buffet prepared and served by friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Fabulous view of Mt Etna from the rooftop terrace. Got some excellent assistance from Valentina with things to do, directions and bus schedules. (Smoking was overlooked on the terrace in the evening and rather than say smoking is not permitted ....staff member said I complained and am allergic)

What a peach of a hotel! Small, so friendly and fabulous. Staff so attentive and happy to help. Breakfast on the terrace is a real treat and by far the best continental breakfast we have had. Would 100% recommend this hotel. It’s also right in the centre of Taorima within walking distance to everything you’ll need.

We had a great stay at Hotel Taodomus. Everything was really good, from check in, to baby cot in the room and breakfast at the roof top terrace with a great view.

Potentially a nice hotel but there are a number of shortcomings. Staying in my room there was noise from the terrace above from around 5am as tables etc were being prepared for breakfast. The room is very small with no towel rails and no drawer space to speak of. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the staff helpful and friendly. Instructions to get to the hotel are not as clear as they could be as when we finally made it it was simple a simple walk from a large car park situated outside the town???

Lovely and clean at the top of Taormina. Very convenient. The room was a little small but the breakfast area is beautiful.
