Jennifer is the key to this place! I highly recommend staying hear if you want a quiet stay but still have easy access to everything key west.

Lovely property. Very quiet. Easy walking to Hemmingway House, Duval St. and Truman House. I would visit it again when in Key West.

I stayed one night in Key West and had a wonderful experience. The room was very bright and clean. The place is quiet, and the area is beautiful with charming houses. Additionally, it is very close to Duval Street, the Hemingway Museum, and the 90-mile marker. Highly recommended!

The tv didn’t work.

Great location, walkable distance to beach, southern point, and front street. Interesting historical building. Free parking was a plus! Friendly and helpful staff.

This is a very nice historical B&B in a great location. We walked everywhere. The neighborhood is gated at night. Overall, awesome.

Excellent stay. Quiet. Great location.

In all the craziness that Key West can be the Weatherstation Inn is a wonderful experience. Having never been to KW a friend suggested staying in the Truman Annex area. I found the Weatherstation Inn and it checked all the boxes for my wife and me. We parked the car ... convenient onsite parking included, and never moved it for four days. The location was convenient and being 'within the gates' offered a calm and quiet setting but just a few easy blocks to all the activities. Jennifer was very friendly and helpful during our stay .... a great source of local information with a very happy and positive disposition each day. We actually stayed in two different rooms as after making our original reservation for two nights we decided we would stay four nights. Even at 3 months in advance it meant booking a different room for the other two nights but all went smoothly. We got two different experiences ..... on the second floor with a balcony and then on the first floor. Both were clean, comfortable and spacious. The hike up the second floor stairs might be too much for some but at 70 years + we made it OK. We also made use of the Opal Key Resort (same ownership/management ???) by spending time at the larger heated pool. The staff at the pool were terrific ,,,, very attentive to the needs of the guests. Excellent food and drink at the pool as well. The weather was outstanding during our stay and that always helps in our impression of a stay but it was very enjoyable.

Although only there for one night we found the stay amazing! Jennifer greeted us and gave us very helpful information! When we return we will certainly look for a room here!

We had only one night here, but it was one of the best hotel stays ever. Such a great decision, it was worth every penny. The neighbourhood looks like from a movie set, everything is so clean and with palms, orchids, no cars on the streets, ocean is so close...perfect. Then, interior & exterior of the Inn takes you back in time. Bed is comfortable & bfast although basic is really good since they bring fresh pastries from the local bakery. You feel like a part of history when you stay here since it is located in Trumax Annex. The area closes every night for cars & pedestrians & it is extra safe. Little White house is a few steps away. There is parking & tiny pool. Since the Inn is operated together with the Opal Key Resort & Marina (5min away), you can coordinate with them for whatever you need...incl checkin/out, shower facilities when you check out, excursions etc.

One positive, the place was close to everything within walking distance. This is NOT a bed and breakfast so not sure why it is advertised as such. There is no staff, you get your key taped to a back door on arrival. There was no housekeeping and the worst part was the cold showers for 3 nights for $400-480 a night (price increases on the weekend). It was highly disappointing and we will not be back. A motel on the side of a road in a vacant town probably would have has more to offer.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Weatherstation Inn. After driving through the busy, populated areas of Key West, we were relieved to turn onto the quiet streets in the Truman Annex, where the Inn is located. The Inn has dedicated off-street parking for guests, which we really appreciated. The location is very close to Mallory Square - where we viewed a beautiful sunset the first evening of our stay - and all the shops along Duval Street, but it's really quiet and safe. Our room (the Garden Room - the original porch at the property) was quiet until the roosters wandering the streets started crowing at dawn! Our after-hours check-in went smoothly thanks to the email communications from the Inn about how to access the keys. Breakfast was simple (croissants, bread/bagels, yogurt, juice, fruit and coffee) but delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: overall quaint inn. Great location, very walkable to Duval St, beaches and parks. Included off street parking. Included continental breakfast is time and cost saving. Staff is very attentive and washed the dirty seat covers for our room chairs when we pointed it out. Cons: could use the area carpet in the room replaced; it's very dirty. The doors and banisters need to be cleaned; dirty handprints everywhere.

Great place to stay in key west close to wverything

Every time we had been to Key West ans walked by the Truman Annex we wondered how to stay there, so I waa so happy to find the Weatherstation Inn available! It is a beautiful place, vwey peaceful ans conveniently situated. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our stay

Beautiful building and in Truman annex. Walkable anywhere. Third floor massive staircase and bed need step ladder to board. Stayed her three times previously in first floor - that was excellent.

no daily housekeeping as per your write up;nor any newspapers Bedroom was on the small side Biggest negative was not mentioned in the write up, we had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our third floor room

Beautiful property and great location.

Everything was lovely with exception of the entrance to our room. It was through a utility closet. We felt a bit self conscious to be extra quiet, as we were adjacent to the lobby.

The Weatherstation Inn is a beautiful hotel in Key West. It’s in a great location that was close to everything we wanted to see. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly and our room was great! The only complaint we had was the room wasn’t very dark at night for sleeping but that’s a very minor inconvenience.

Weatherstation was in a fabulous area - quiet but just minutes walk from Duval. Beach was also less than 15 minute walk away. Rooms were lovely but windows cannot be opened. Pool bottom looked like it could use a clean up. Breakfast was very carb heavy - more fruit or maybe some cheese would have been welcomed. Also, huge amount of garbage generated from breakfast - everything (cutlery, cups, plates etc) was disposable.
