Right In the middle of Ravenna’s old town. Very welcoming and nice older lady in the reception. The room is modern, and logically laid out. Very clean, good bed. And of course with wooden blinds AND blackout curtains you achieve complete darkness for sleeping. Some noise from the crowd outside, but closing the window helps.

We walked from the train station to this hotel, which was about a mile, over cobbled streets surrounded by old buildings and it was very easy to find. It is an older hotel with simple styling and a local, homely feel. We had a little confusion at check in but that was quickly sorted. There are a few steps to lift luggage up to access the elevator to rooms. Fine for us but might prove an issue for less mobile guests. Breakfast was adequate with fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and cakes as well as tea and fresh coffee. The big plus for this hotel is its very central location, you are literally straight on to the old cobbled streets and very close to shops, the piazza del popolo with its clock tower and lots of historic buildings. There are plenty of places to eat within a short walk from the hotel and the staff made recommendations, which we tried and had a lovely meal. We were there for two nights and there was plenty to see and do in Ravenna.

AC was noisy and didn’t work well.
Breakfast was a fantastic option, however, the menu noted meats, which were not offered.

Excellent location, comfortable room. An all-you-can-eat delicious breakfast comes with the room. The man at the front desk could not be more friendly or more helpful. He solved many problems for me.

We enjoyed are stay, the location was great just off the main square and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Staff super friendly. Close to sight, good restaurants, a Coop grocery if you need supplies. Internet was fine. Only complaints, the shower stall was so tiny the water turned off when you turned in the shower. Also, the temperature control did not work so well, there was a thermostat with warm and cool and fan on it but nothing happened no matter what settings we tried. But we liked the place.

Stayed one night following a cruise, en route to Venice. Quite a basic hotel, but ok for one night only. Would benefit from some improvements to decor and facilities, as the shower door didn’t close properly and toilet roll holder broken.

The location is very close to most major tourist sites. The rooms are clean. The staff are extremely helpful and good. The only problem is that the bathrooms are extremely small, and it was very difficult to use the shower. The shower head was not adjustable, and set at a lower position, making it difficult to take a shower. Moving around in the shower stall was difficult. Also, the AC did not work well and did not cool the room enough. Other space limitations were manageable.

Very pleasant hotel, extremely well located right at the center of Ravenna.
Breakfast is very good, service is excellent. People who work at the hotel reception are very helpful and eager to provide information.
Internet is rather slow in the rooms (in some parts of the hotel it is better).
All in all, very recommended!

Very lovely hotel with clean rooms, fridges, and safes. Multilingual staff 24/7 at front desk. Upscale neighborhood (literally right next to a rolex store) and vibrant local nightlife.

Very convenient location for seeing the mosaics and Dante sites, easy walk from the station, market and other restaurants were close by. Our room was a little small, but okay for two nights, in comparison the bathroom was large. The breakfast was good with proper coffee. Helpful staff.

The Hotel Centrale Byron was a pleasant place to stay. Our check in was a breeze and the bathroom was a great size. I don't expect huge bathrooms in historic city centres, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is right near one of the best piazza's in the town and is very well placed. The air conditioner in our room was the only thing that was not always consistent. Would recommend.

Excellent location, right in the middle of the most popular piazza. Area is full of shops and restaurants. A nice gelato shop across the street. A 10 min walk from the train station (if you take the right path).
The only down side is the shower area is VERY small. It could have been fine with a slight design change
