I think the iron horse staff is top-notch. They were always willing to help and were very friendly. The place where the iron horse fails is the outsourcing stuff. They need to bring that back in house. The valet situation was confusing convoluted and generally pretty useless. Sometimes the car would be parked 5 ft away but it would still take 5 minutes to get it. They have this weird app system that doesn't really work very well. I'm told that it's a company that isn't actually part of the hotel. And I think that's a miss. Also my wife tried to get a massage and they literally gave her a phone number to call. Typically that is something I am used to the hotel setting up and providing.. at least at a high-end hotel. I think a lot of this is because of the effect of covid-19 and the pandemic. But I will assert, that the staff was very friendly and tried their best to keep us happy. The only other thing I can say is that these pipes and building somehow back feed sewer gas. Sometimes. Our room kind of smelled poopy. I have experienced this type of thing in various resorts in Mexico and the Bahamas. I didn't expect it in Milwaukee. If they can figure out a way to tighten up the efficiency of some of the property amenities, I would certainly return. If that's not possible, I might try elsewhere before returning.

Cool vibes, nice patio, the third ward offers a variety of restaurants and bars. Close to HD Museum.

It was nice, but soft water and a bidet would have made it perfect.

Hotel was beautiful, the bar was closed though for a Saturday night I would expect it to be open.

When checking in front desk staff took 10-15 mins to get to the desk. When trying to reach someone at the hotel you get a phone tree and transferred to an agent off site who are very unhelpful and unprofessional. Late night shift staff was rude and unhelpful. Morning of check out housekeeping came around to our door and banged on door at 8:30 am to “see if we were still there”. Overall experience was the worst I have had yet at a hotel. Will not be staying here again and will not recommend to others

Will definitely be back! Beautiful room. Comfortable bed. Walkable to many bars and restaurants and summerfest grounds as well as great bar and restaurant on site and comfortable open lounge area.

Another wonderful stay. Front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Outdoor bar staff were also very good. We will stay again!

Check in was ok just a little fumbled with some computer issues. Had an upgrade authorized but they didn't have any info about it and was booked up first night. Room was large and clean, just didn't expect the train to run all night outside our window. Hotel amenities were unclear beyond the massage card and the pretty stocked mini fridge( didn't even ask how much drinks were). They do have breakfast in the library and apparently a gym.

Stay here probably 12 plus years ago. Hotel in good condition but some areas starting to show age. Carpet in room was showing wear.

The Yard was not open for whatever reason. No explanation they just said it was closed. We looked forward to eating there and sitting outside.
