Made us feel welcome at Reception, helped with the reduced rate car parking. Room in good condition, had the essentials we needed. Great & close location to The Engine Shed at the Uni, for a music gig. And no more than 10 minutes walk to the city centre shops and restaurants.

Really nice hotel, had a bit of an issue with bl**d on the wall. Hotel staff moved us rooms instantly and gave us a free drink. Overall very nice hotel in a perfect spot for exploring lincoln. Breakfast included in the price, food was nuce and bed was comfortable

Friendly staff Lady replenishing the breakfast food was an absolute star...never stopped whilst we were there. Room was ok although the bed could have been a bit bigger.

Good stay again. Still shame the bar is not used more. As staff friendly and nice to talk with. Also bar does need a corkscrew.! I had to assist a guest with a cork bottle of wine - not all wine has a screw top - luckily i overheard the guests dilemma and was able to help him.

Clean small room and bathroom. Could do with more drawer space. Breakfast buffet style and good. Probably one of the nearest to the city centre that has parking and is reasonably priced.

This is the third time this year I've had a 4 day stayed here. It's handy for work, nice walk into town in the evenings for food and drinks. Staff are always nice and friendly from reception to breakfast waiters. Breakfast is nice, fresh and plentiful with a choice of a light breakfast or cooked. The rooms are quiet comfy and clean and the rooms are attended to every day, which is not to be expected from every hotel chain, which is much appreciated. Even though I throw up the bed covers, it's always nice to come back to a made up bed and folded bath / hand towels.

We booked this last minute but found everything to be fab. Good parking, good staff. Comfortable room. Great night’s sleep. Breakfast was just OK would be my only comment but it was very busy and the server quite small.

Really good room, I'm guessing newly refurbished as was in great condition. Very clean. Breakfast was good, thankfully kept well stocked even though we were down at a fairly busy time. Staff very good and helpful. Well located for visiting the city and area around. Good size carpark

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s in a good position to get to the centre of town. It’s clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good. The rooms are really nice. Our only issues were the shower flow is weak and the beds are small (4’ 6’’). Neither spoiled our stay but something to be aware of if you’re a larger person or not keen on the person you’re with.

We had a friendly reception from the staff on arrival. Were able to check in at noon as the room was ready , with no extra charge. Parking was £8.50 for 24 hours but was more than compensated by excellent free breakfasts. Plenty of choice and good quality food. It got busy after 9am but we were warned about this. We had a room on the 6th floor overlooking the main road . There was some traffic noise but this didn't affect our sleep. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower pressure was a bit low but this was not really an issue . Within walking distance of the city centre and cathedral. Good sized room with plenty of natural light . Reception had plenty of coffees, sugars and milk when we ran out. Quiet around the hotel even though it was fully booked. Good value for money in our opinion and glad we chose to stay there.

Great location for a visit to the local parkrun & to walk to the cathedral. Parking is very expensive & not part of the room rate.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 2 nights. Very welcoming staff when we arrived. You have to pay for parking on a machine inside the hotel and the receptionist gave us a discount code to use! On arrival at our room we found thenTV didn’t work. We called reception and Nicky came up very quick to help. She couldn’t fix it so returned to reception organized another room for us and also gave us a complimentary drink voucher to use during our stay! First class customer service !! All the staff were very friendly and helpful!! We had a nice 2 night stay and the breakfast was plentiful!! Would definitely recommend staying here and it’s only a short walk into town

Nice cheap overnight stay with my wife. The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the centre. It was clean and reception staff were friendly, buffet breakfast was included in the price and the food was good. Parking is available at the hotel for £8.50 with a code from reception. Had a room on the second floor roadside of the hotel there was a bit of traffic noise at peak times but didn't affect our nights sleep. I would definately book here again.
