This hotel has a very strong smell from reed diffusers that are placed all over the place. It was too much and overwhelming. Even rooms had a strong smell of cleaning supplies. Having to deal with this smell all the time made our stay uncomfortable.

Charged 90 euro for 3 nights parking even though listed stated parking was part. Shower floor busted and shower door leaked water

Hotel was clean, bed comfy and centrally located. The complimentary drinks in the fridge were a nice touch and the front desk was very helpful. Rooms on the small size bit quiet. AC worked well and appreciated. Didn’t try the breakfast, found a couple of nice coffee shops close by.
It would have been nice to have a coffee machine and tea kettle in the room.

The Poet is a great place to stay. The front desk staff was very helpful and sweet. There is really interesting art through out the main areas. Our King size bed was comfortable and the biggest bed I have ever seen! I think it was 7 1/2 feet wide!

My stay at the Poet hotel was wonderful! The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for day trips to Cinque Terre. The hotel itself is as beautiful as the photos online. It was stylish, clean, and full of charm! The staff was also warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing place to stay, with easy access to Cinque Terre, this hotel is a fantastic choice!

The hotel was ok, but it did not have a restaurant on site, which I find comfortable if you come back tired and do not wish to go out to dinner or even to do room service.
Housekeeping service did not replenish soap or other toiletries.
The area is ok too, not too many fine dinning options and there is nothing at all to visit in La Spezia. If you do not wish to stay in one of the Cinque terre cities, La Spezia is a good option since it is quite big.

I loved this hotel. 24/7 concierge with at least two people. Very close to the Main Street that has all shops and bars. This is a great hotel to keep as a home base if you are visiting Cinque Terre. The train station was a 7 min walk.

The Poet Hotel is a very nice building with clean interiors and comfortable rooms. It was exactly what we were looking for in a hotel that mainly served as a place to stay. It’s located very close to the Main Street where there are fantastic restaurants and nightlife. However the street its on is quite dark and slightly dirty.
The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful. The service was okay, as our room was cleaned each day but the minibar was not filled. Also, the phone in the room did not work which made it difficult to call the hotel.

I have stayed here over 10 times in the past year. All the staff are fantastic and the location ideal and in close proximity to all amenities. The hotel is clean with excellent showers. Breakfast is good with decent coffee.
Parking can be provided by the hotel but can be found on Via Garibaldi and Easypark app makes an easier and cheaper option.
Always look forward to staying here.

My husband and I stayed at this very nice hotel for two nights. It is situated near the station and the harbour. There are plenty of possibilities for shopping, and restaurants are there many of. We brought a car and had it locked up in a garage just next to the hotel. It was a great help. We hope to come back one day 😊

We had a tough travel day on our way to La Spezia, and it was such a relief to be able to walk from the train station in just a few minutes and have a beautiful hotel like Poet to stay in. Its such a nice space, full of artsy decorations and nice amenities. Staff were helpful. The location is very residential, so youre not really in the Cinque Terre action, but that helped us since we had a dental medical issue come up and had to find a dentist and pharmacy, all of which was literally 5 min walk away and very helpful. 7 minute walk to train station so you could easily visit all the villages of Cinque Terre. The hotel room was very pleasant, clean, comfortable with large bed. Felt like staying in North America. Breakfast had lots of diverse options and quality food. We would recommend.

The hotel is conveniently located. There are numerous restaurants and shopping facilities nearby. The breakfast offer still has potential. The rooms are too dark in my opinion and the bed was rather uncomfortable.

Great location. Short walk to Cinque Terre trains. Main plaza very close with shops and restaurants. Breakfast is simple. We had parking through the hotel. But the onsite parking was full. They have additional parking a short walk away. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Great choice.

Very clean hotel, excellent breakfast. Nice helpfull personell, perfect parking facilties for a reasonable daily rate of 20 euro. We had a superior room, we never have seen such a large bed: 2 x 1,20 width. The airconditiong was making a very loud noise, maybe only on our room. We always travel with earplugs, so its nog an issue for us. The location lies in one line between the Ferry 15 min walk and the train station 5-10 min walk.

Unfortunately my daughter got very sick on our day of checkout. The hotel allowed us to get a late check out for a reasonable fee and my daughter was able to recuperate. Great gateway to Cinque Terre.
