No room service and upkeep of the room could be better (eg they didn’t refill coffee pods, provide extra water bottles (you can’t drink tap water) or provide fresh crockery after day 1, and the shower didn’t have shampoo or soap but was refilled on second day. I didn’t use the safe for Day 1 but asked for it Day 2 and still got charged two days regardless. Only 3 euros but still. Overall, as I paid a discounted price I was very happy with the place as we got to enjoy the beach conveniently.

Booked an apartment thinking it was part of the hotel complex but it's not. It's nothing like the hotel the apartments are dreary and depressing. The front desk staff were unhelpful and at times rude. On the plus side the rooms within the hotel look like the pictures and are clean and comfortable. Food is good.not much of a selection but all fresh. Pool is small and children's entertainment is limited. We would not stay here again based on our experience in fact we left after 2 days. However had our stay started in the hotel rather than the apartment maybe we would have felt different.

We liked the hotel , the facilities were great, clean room, lovely pools , Nice choice of food,close to the sea , our only biggest concern was that there wasnt much music around the pool & if some it was in German language, also the Entertainment was in German , We are coming from London & We would really appreciate english , its International language end of the day ! thats the only reason why we probably would not come back again !

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week away. We loved it. Very friendly staff, great food and comfy and spacious rooms! Would definitely go back again!

Everything about this holel was great! The staff were super helpful and friendly and the buffet breakfast and dinner excellent. I particularly liked the fact that vegetarian and vegan choices were clearly labeled. This was a last minute booking for me and my daughter to have a relaxing few days away in the sun and we could not have asked for more!

Enjoyed two weeks at this hotel. Staff were excellent and couldn't do more to assist us during our stay. We were given an apartment as our room was not ready due to overbooking. The apartment was equipped well with the basics including a coffee machine (no kettle or filter) and a toaster. We were invited for two special occasion dinners at the hotel (we were half board anyway) and were given complimentary "champagne". We didn't spend too much time at the hotel as we found that the majority of people there were much older and didn't speak English. But when we did we were always able to get good sun beds with a parasol, the pools weren't overloaded with chlorine and appeared clean. This hotel was suitable for couples and the majority of people there during our stay were older, I wouldn't stay therin if I had children as I didn't see it as one of those sorts of hotels Whig was what we were looking for. However there was a children's club. They did theme nights with meals, and entertainment, however we did not tend to hang around at the hotel in the evenings as we like to socialise. The house keeping staff were very lovely and thoughtful especially on my birthday and our housekeeper made me a towel cake which I thought was very sweet as she had clearly seen my birthday cards. I used the spa facilities and had a treatment, the girl who facilitated it was very lovely and I was impressed with the quality and choices for nail colour.

Stayed here on b+b basis for 4 nights at end of July 2016. Couldn't fault hotel - rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were always happy to help. Hotel has two pools (one kiddy type pool and a larger deeper pool with some of it marked out for lane swimming). Beach is only a 5 minute walk away and there are a number of mini supermarket type shops which are open till 11pm opposite the hotel. Beach is only a 5 minute walk away, with loungers you can rent which also have a little safe so you can leave valuables whilst swimming. The area is quiet at night and feels safe to walk about at any time. Wifi is free in the lobby/pool/dining areas but costs €2 per day, per piece of equipment if you want to use it it the rooms. Guests get free use of the spa, and other services such as massages are very good and reasonably priced (we paid €88 for a couples full body massage which lasted over an hour). Hotel is disabled friendly as there are ramps available either at or in place of all stairs, and there are two lifts going to all floors

we had a superior room overlooking the street but could see beach a bit as well, glad we had this side as pool rooms didn't seem to get much sun and the street noise was not that bad. We were only b&b , breakfast had a fair variety but fruit juice/ smoothies were terrible, diluting juice with very little fruit. Staff were often too quick to clear the tables, plates were sometimes taken away whilst still eating.Most of the residents here were all inclusive & hotel was geared very much towards this.

Nothing to complain about. Great and friendly staff great location. We were given a gift for your honeymoon - night buffet and a room with a seaview. Will not forget my stay and definitely if i go Mallorca again which im sure i will i am gonna book this hotel!

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a short 5 day break. Great value for money, clean, staff helpful and friendly, great facilities and champagne reception was a nice touch. Never had a problem getting a sunbed around the pool and only a 2 minute walk to the beach if that. Not many restaurants nearby but if you fancy a half hour stroll into can picafort we ate a lovely restaurante called Monaco. Highly recommended. Can always get the road train aswell which is practically outside the hotel and takes about 20 minutes. Definitely stay here again ! Everything we needed for a relaxing beach holiday

This was a last minute break, the hotel was lovely, in the quietest part of C'an Picafort. As it was early in the season there wasn't too much noise, just the entertainment at the hotel until 11pm. It didn't bother us and as you would expect we enjoyed some parts and not others. Generally everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The two pools were excellent, I enjoyed lane swimming and the other pool was always busy to. The food was a good mixture, most tastes would be catered for, even dieters! We ate out as well and enjoyed several meals in different parts of the island. We were only half board and a kettle in the room would have been nice on arrival, I requested this and it was very quickly provided but many people may not realise they can ask. We hired a car and it gave us lots of freedom to visit lots of lovely coves, the roads are good and well signed. There seemed to be a good bus service as well although we didn't use it. Overall I would recommend the island and the hotel, I will go back sometime in the future

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was a varied selection of buffet food to choose from. The hotel was a two minute walk from the beach. The room was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly whenever we had any questions. At night there was entertainment. I don't normally enjoy hotel entertainment, but this entertainment was brilliant! Some nights there would be bingo and other nights there'd be a quiz. On our last day the weather turned bad so it was good to have the spa. Even the area was nice. I felt safe and secure and the locals that ran the shops were also very friendly. The beach was really clean too! I'd love to come back to the hotel, the only thing letting it down was the rock solid mattress!

Good value for your money

The hotel is at the very end of Alcudia bay. A taxi into Can Picafort where the majority of bars & restaurants was only around 4euros or a 20 minute stroll on the seafront. The hotel itself was great. Booked on a B&B basis, the range of food available until 10:15 was great, cooked, fruit, cheeses, meats, cereals and pastries. Nice touch of offering watermelon slices around the pool during the heat of the day. Did not think much of the hotel entertainment, but were not there for that but seemed to be a lot to keep kids entertained. Close to the sandy beach of Son Baulo. Great spa to use for most of the day too.

This is not a escape to relax, this is an exciting family holiday with a lot of music and activities (up to 12 at night, under your window), busy pools and bars. Still, really enjoyed, the location is perfect, it was clean enough (although they never took our rubbish when cleaning the room). The restaurant was a bit weird - very strict times and no flexibility for a 10pm sandwich, but the food is good (when available). The spa is alright, the swimming pools are very cool and overall I really recommend it.

Well, personally I loved this place, but it suited exactly what I was after on my Holiday. A place to get away, be left alone, come and go as I please, a 1 minute stroll to the beach, loads of supermarkets and snack places, ice cream shops, beach side restaurants, a SPA FOR FREE EVERY DAY, and breakfast included with another £5per day for dinner (both buffets). I think it is slightly higher than a 3 star, personally, especially for Spain and Europe. Rooms are plenty large. Plenty of hot water in the shower. I had room 106 - not the best view (looked right out onto the street - but I wasn't on Holiday to sit in my room and gaze out my window.) But everything else, I really can't complain. If I were to say any negative thing it is that the beds really are VERY hard - I'm used to this in my other Spain travels so it wasn't a surprise, but compared to my bed at home there really is a huge difference. Also, there is a lot of noise until about 11pm - you can hear the entertainment sound system at least on the first floor. I read a few comments with complaints on the food - I have to disagree. I wouldn't say that all of it was super, but it was more than satisfactory and for the price nothing else will come close. There's plenty of choice - somebody reviewed it was "repetitive" - well, how many kinds of breakfast foods can you fit in 5 different buffet bars. All in all, super happy. And the spa was pleasant. Warm pool jets and massage chairs in the water. Sauna, etc.

We had a great stay at the Janeiro. Very helpful staff at the reception desk. Jose, Maitre D, was very welcoming and efficient at the restaurant, great choice of food too. Stefan gave us free Spanish tuition and the free spa was such a bonus. Stunning scenery and sea view from our room. We recommend Don Juan's bar for a drink, just around the corner.
