Perfect spacious 2bedroom apartment in a great location within easy walking distance to beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. 10 minute walk to bowling or golf club. Balcony overlooking the pool with views out to the ocean. Friendly staff and clean facilities with free parking.

Great location, friendly staff

The size and clarity of the TV was great. The only complaint was the quality of the toilet paper.

Very warm and friendly welcome and all the staff were really lovely and helpful, our room was over looking the pool and we had allocated parking that was underground, the resort is walking distance to the town and water front and plenty of restaurants and cafes and Woolworths

Nice sized 2 bedroom unit close to everything. Staff were lovely. Bed quite hard in one room, but would stay here again.

Very nice resort , big and comfortable but unfortunately the apartment wasn’t very clean , bathroom had hair everywhere , toothpaste on cabinets ,dirty tails catering was also dirty . Not very happy this time .

Great place to stay

Quiet & nice place. Close to the shops & water activities.

Property is in reasonable condition though bathrooms getting a bit rundown and grout badly needs proper clean/scrub. Beds were made up with just sheet (no blanket/quilt) available for kids. Hair dryer blew and was replaced. Oven smoked the hole place out and set of smoke alarms. They sent someone up with a fan and discussed sending someone to check the oven next day - didn’t happen, didn’t communicate anything. 2 meals ruined and not so much as an apology. Overall -good facilities and nice staff but need better maintenance of apartments. Probably overbooked and not enough staff to deal with it so avoid peak times. Avoid ground floor units as noise of people coming/going and carrying on outside isn’t great and windows not double glazed. BYO block out blinds if you have kids as street and facilities lights shine straight into the rooms, there are no curtains and blinds were missing and in disrepair.

We had a such a great stay at mantra. Kids loved the pool and everything was within walking distance. However, the first disadvantage was that none of the windows had blockout blinds so it was hard to get a restful sleep with light from the street peering through, as well as the mornings by 6am everyone was up including the kids. Second thing we noticed was the main bedroom with ensuite, didn’t have any air conditioning and was on the opposite side of apartment to where the air conditioner was mounted to the wall so was impossible to cool down before bed time, which is what we had to do each night for the kids room. Pretty minor, wasn’t enough to ruin our stay we still very much enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Staff lovely , whole process easy!

Nice And quite area but unfortunately the apartment but unfortunately the furniture is NOT in good conditions And some of them is broken especially the doors and it's fallen on my kids

1. Tiny 2. Air conditioning in one corner and not reachable to all area. 3. Toilet had no exhaust fan. 4. one of the room remote for fan and light was not working. 5. Overall worst experience so far.

Really enjoyed the stay

A great location and rooms are spacious, but we found the property to be not very clean and very wet and musty smelling. There was also a lot of people smoking, so you couldn’t open your windows, so not very family friendly

Good position and had everything that we needed but the apartment was just a bit bland and tired looking. With a quick update this place would be so much more inviting

Had a decent stay at Mantra in Nelson Bay. Like other reviews have said, the property is dated and could use some upgrades inside the rooms, but it was decent enough and very clean. Good location, close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Pool area does get quite busy with nice weather and it can get loud but overall happy with our experience.

Huge 3 bed apartment, great layout. In need of some general maintenance and the balcony needs a good clean! Even clearing all the leaves would have made a big difference. Lots of aging items inside, some updates definitely needed. Still had a great stay.
