It Is okay nice hotel but kind small in the pool area ,the host at the restaurants kind of rude to others waitress when they try to give us better seating for the family they seem unorganized on the restaurants service, very unhappy workers

Nice location, conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The property was well maintained but dated.The buffet was as expected for an all inclusive resort. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

We stsyed just one night to enjoy Superbowl. Party was wonderful, service excellent, food so so, drinks plentiful and very average, typical all inclusive.
Problem with people reserving lounges around pool still persists.
Overall this is a typical all inclusive, rather average wigh very nice staff.
Beware of the time share people, just say NO.

The restaurants are not staffed to properly accommodate the volume of guests. The pool was dirty and the floor of the pool was damaged in several areas. Many wanted to play water vollyball but the balls were waterlogged and extremely heavy. For a large resort to NOT replace a $10 volleyball is a bad look. The maid staff was very friendly, and hard working. The restaurant servers and the food truck employees were doing the jobs of two people, which made service very poor. The food quality is a bit less than average, The bell hops, and doormen were great. The servers working the coffee bar/snack stand were all very nice. The property needs to be refurbished, the only redeeming quality is the hard working staff. The concierge was excellent!

Poor maintenance of the building as same quality of food plus rude employees very disappointed with their attitude bad food and drinks. All the equipment in the pool area very poor condition. Same in the rooms bath towels disgusting. Over price to get that kind of service.

First time staying at this resort and it was absolutely awesome!! The staff is so friendly and eager to please their guests. My partner and I were treated excellent. Nayelli the bar waitresses was incredibly kind and attentive. Our pool side waiters Ignacio and Alexander were also very kind and attentive. They walk away saying “my pleasure.” The fish tacos and the hot dog (gourmet) at the snack truck were delicious!! I thought the buffet’s were well maintained and the food was good. Remember to tip your service workers!!

This is our 3rd time to this exact resort and we love it. Safe and can cross street into downtown to visit other entertainment establishments (Frank's Bar, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. Resort is clean and secure. Walks on the beach are fanastic. Our favorite is they just installed 4 pickleball courts and have one tennis court. Great resort and we will go back next year!

The property is central and even distance between ZUI and Playa Linda, both of which I like to go when I stay. You can walk across the street for shopping, music and food. The options are great. The transportation is wonderful. So easy to take the bus, taxi or walk. People, staff and locals alike were very nice and willing to help. I would recommend staying.

I was expecting more for what we paid. They were busing people in to try out the property so they had paid next to nothing, we paid and the food was sub par. Will not go again. All inclusive is a fraud

we have been going there since 2013 and slowly declining food is terrible ran out of food at buffet...stuff is great ...owner cutting back just to make money....covid test $50,00 PER PERSON can get it at airport for $25.00....not very happy

A very aloof approach to customer service. Also property claims to be “all inclusive” and then everything is an additional fee including Internet, room service, etc. Also, food was TERRIBLE! Consistently bland across the board. Many of us felt this way; I wasn’t alone. We also had an incident where my son was bullied by resort staff to pay a taxi driver 200 pesos for returning a lost wallet. They called him a “baby.” It was a terrible experience.

This hotel is terrible is dirty old and if they are fixing something they just do a Mickey mouse. It was outdated bugs in the room in the hallways and the balcony. The elevator was okd and dirty.

The service was amazing and the whole atmosphere of this hotel was inviting since we arrived. The one bad experience was the food. None of the food was an authentic mexican taste. They serve chilaquiles but didnt have a taste is was just plain tomatoe sauce with tortillas and onion and they drownednit in crema and cheese to make it taste better. They had no tortillas handmade, no carne asada or pollo asado for like buffet style tacos and salsa either. No chile verde, no chips and salsa, no guacamole. They serve different foods chicken, meat pork, salad and fruits and breakfast buffets but the buffets and a la cart restaurant did not have any good food. The da mario restaurant they have we tried 5 different plates and nothing had a taste of wow it was just basic. The staff was amazing especially the server at the coffee bar she always had a inviting and welcoming attitude and you could tell she made a great effort to pearn english. She made my kids feel welcomed and learn to ask in spanish which i loved. The pools are great and all the servers while in the hotel are very attentive. They have alot to offer and I wish we had a better experience with the food to come back because my family loved it. We didnt even want to leave the hotel to explore Zihuatanejo they madenit worth are entire stay with the hospitality and entertainment at the hotel.

this is a nice and clean hotel with great views, but due to the pandemic they are short staff and restaurants are very inconsistent, the open on different dates and menu changes constantly,
I would say wait till the pandemic ends before going so you may have a better experience than I did.

I wrote a great review the first day after a great check in and nice welcoming room but that was it. There after it was disappointing even upsetting due to rudeness and condescending treatment from some staff members..at check in I asked, and was offered the required travel covid19 test for free ..but was asked to pay $50 usd. When i tried to make the appt., To have it done, I wast told "sorry for the miss- information, its free to long stay customers only ". I also was humiliated and singled out at the italian, ala carte restaurant for wearing crocks when many were being admitted wearing flip flops, i was boldy treated by the 2 young hosts at of the restaurant and the manager told me to step aside, that I was "wearing plastic shoes "!!!. He asked me to leave and ignored me when I pointed out that others flip flops were also plastic. After complaining to the on duty Mgr. Whom was nice and sympathetic, a nice but unrequested dinner was sent to my room...I felt as if I was a lectured and grounded child who was being fed in her room after getting in trouble...it was disgusting...i was traveling solo and felt miserably treated. Half of the staff were wonderful, mostly the ones who did labor, the others, such hosts and desk staff are rude. sorry won't be back nor will i recommend it.

I booked this hotel based on the high rated reviews but I was disappointed. The food was awful, mixed drinks were ok, white and red wine was bad (no rose or sparking wine). The hotel does offer a variety of wine bottles for sale but at a high markup, the liquor store across the street sells better wine at reasonable prices. Also, the hotel did not offer basic toiletries such as body lotion, hair conditioner, shower cap, etc. But on the plus side, the location is great and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff at the explorer kids club, though the activities and just okay not often would the kids want to go.most staff were very friendly. Food was horrible and we were bothered many times to do the breakfast and listen to the member program. That is always so annoying.

The hotel is very good - and here comes the two "but's":
1. Every single day, without fail at varying times but generally by 8 pm, they ran out of white wine. At both the lobby bar and all of the various restaurants? How can a hotel run out of such a basic drink? We don't really drink anything else so found ourselves having to buy our own wine across the road and run up and down to our room to replenish our drinks. This is unacceptable at an all inclusive resort where beer, tequila and wine should be as plentiful as eggs and bread is for breakfast!
2. The blue grill waiters are very disorganized (meals mixed up or forgotten completely). Our observation was the disorganization is due to the Maitre D' is not as present as he should be. The hostess is very good. On top of the tables being cleared so that she can seat those waiting in line but from that point it goes down hill. On our last night we sat for 20 minutes waiting to have our order delivered only to have a different waiter come and ask what we would like from the menu. Chaos. We left having only had one appetizer delivered and no drinks except a glass (one) of water.
If not for these two points this hotel would receive an excellent rating from us because we enjoyed our week with excellent weather and all in all a very good time.
