It’s the perfect spot for a family vacation!
Everything and everyone was amazing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back for a longer stay - highly recommend.
The staff is attentive and courteous. Our room wasn’t heating properly, we figured it would just take some time since we had just arrived and so left to take advantage of the amenities/go to dinner; we didn’t give the heating a second thought. But the staff was proactive in their response, offering us new rooms before we even realized there was an issue.
Our 5-year-old loved the play room. The restaurant served great food. And of course, we loved the proximity to hikes and overall location.

We had just come off of a hike when we entered the hotel. It Smelled very nice as we walked in. We were greeted warmly, and offered wash rags and cold drinks. Staff was friendly and super helpful showing us around the property and getting reservations lined up for us. Rooms were very well appointed, and very comfortable. Spa was very clean, peaceful, the best I have ever experienced! I would definitely go there again!

First the positive. Fantastic service and friendly staff, friendly towards kids, very nice spa area (open for kids until 05:00 PM), great breakfast (fresh orange juice, made to order pancakes and eggs) and very nice restaurant with a nice wine list. Very nice outside terasse for drinks etc. Reason for low rating is how poorly I slept. I do not think the hotel is suitable for summer. It was simply too hot. No aircondition, so only option is to open windows. This however, meant that the very busy road just outside was very loud with speeding motorcycles etc. at least until 02:30 AM, also an issue next door building emptied their trash jo next to the room (picture upladed). After I wrote a complaint in the middle of the night, the friendly staff upgraded us from a family room to a suite at 4th floor, it was a bit better, but still the noise was not suitable for a luxury stay in the mountains. I was more stressed leaving than arriving. I complained again at check in, but the very nice staff cannot fix lack of air-condition and location next to busy road. I would only consider going in winter time.

Hotel was lovely. Great public areas and really good rooms. Fixtures and fittings of high standard. Free shuttle to main ski station was great. Plus the hotel’s own debutant slopes a great bonus. Reception staff were very good. But hotel badly let down by bar and restaurant staff. Made to feel like it was too much trouble to serve us dinner in the restaurant on our first night. Late arrival due to road closure on 8th March . But others came into restaurant after us. The male maître d’ was unhelpful to point of rude then very slow to serve us all throughout the meal. As the week progressed items such as butter ran out at breakfast and were not replaced and by mid-week were no longer available. Throughout our stay there was often no one serving in the bar. It was open but unattended. A 15 minute wait for service was not unusual and we regularly had to go and look for someone. Was it post half-term busy period over blues or indicative of normal situation? We could not tell.

We stayed for 5 nights in a superior room in March 2018 for a skiing trip. The room was big with a super king sized bed and lots of storage. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower and loads of hot water. The buffet breakfast was good with the usual fare. We had pasta one night in the bar and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle to the El Tarter gondola went on demand. We ate in a couple of local restaurants which were very good.

Great staff, clean comfortable rooms, good bar, wide food choice, brilliance ant learner slope and instructors

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I went with my 4 year old daughter so that she would be able to learn how to Ski. The ski school here is literally downstairs - and the lessons are perfect. We had a Ski Instructor called Marcos and he was so good with my Daughter.
The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are lovely. 5 stars all round from me.

The hotel staff were attentive at all times and made sure you had everything for your stay. Good choice at breakfast and would suggest half board option which can be added daily. Dinners could do with a free more veggies.

Great service. Deluxe room if beautiful and had great view to the slopes. The shuttle to ElTarter/ Soldeu is very convenient right to the lifts.

This hotel was marvellous and had everything you could need for a ski holiday. Especially great if you were a beginner with learning slopes right outside the door.
Ski hire and lift passes were discounted and a shuttle took you to El Tarter whenever you wanted to go or be picked up - the 1km is too far to walk with all your gear.
The staff were chatty and very helpful but not imposing, breakfasts were awesome and the food generally a high standard.
I would highly recommend.

Hotel is about a 30 minute walk up a huge hill to get to Soldeu not the 200m suggested. Buses are regular and on time but its not as close as youre led to believe, about a mile walk.Breakfast starts at 07:30 although they werent ready until 07:45 and cooked breakfast was still cold. Quite important when youre leaving the hotel before 08:00 to catch a bus. Otherwise superb.

Excellent service and location. One of the best places in Andorra.

Staff could not have been better, from chef to reception to waiters, all genuinely welcoming & kind. Food was great too, super quality & freshly prepared. We booked a room with a view but the view was half wall & half other peoples balconies. Without question, the receptionist kindly granted our wish to change. Not much better (car park view!) but at least this had daylight & not darkness, we decided it was as good as it was going to get. In the mountains I love to sleep with the window open for the fresh air but that is IMPOSSIBLE here! Road noise and much of it! Until very late & starting VERY early. And it is a busy road with some speeding/noisy vehicles - even with the windows tightly shut! When the vehicle noise ceased... then the neighbour noise began. Our room was an adjoining room - great for families but the noise leave between the doors was intolerable. We would hear other guests cleaning their teeth, showering, etc! not very relaxing. Overall, great staff & food, let down by the hotel they work in. Shame. Having read reviews I was really looking forward to this particular stay. Maybe if youre a heavy sleeper, dont mind noise & arent fussed about a view then these issues wouldnt pose a problem. If only the hotel was as good as the people working in it.
