The accomodation is fairly basic and the reception was not open at the times stated.The location is excellent and the room was clean.However the process for checking out with no reception was confusing.

The location from the train station was perfect. The communication with the staff was amazing and so helpful. Security was good, it was quaint and comfortable.

Clean hotel very close to train station, yet quiet. Staff very helpful. We got a room with two twin beds. One person thought beds were great, the other thought a bit too soft. Can't please everyone. I would start again.

This room did not feel like a hotel room but more like home. The service was brilliant and I feel suitable and safe for solo women travellers. Located near transport and the main town.

Very friendly staff, responsive to our requests. Great location to tour the area. Breakfast was nice but very basic. We had a great spacious room. But higher floors can be problematic with heavy luggage.

Very close to the train station which was great. Across the road from where breakfast is served and across the street from the pedestrian walk way with all the restaurants. No parking, unless you park at the station of a 10min walk away. A/C worked well, as it was very hot outside.

The management was very welcoming. The air conditioning worked very well. Any need we had was taken care of immediately. The location was 3 minutes from the train station.

Owner along with the girl at the office where very friendly and helpful. The location is about a 2 minute walk from the train station to go to Cinque Terre and if you pick the breakfast option the cafe for breakfast is just across the street. Would definitely stay here again very good experience, clean rooms,comfy bed and private bathroom.

The property is very clean and a perfect location just a few steps away from La Spezia Centrale train station. Plenty of restaurants in the area and it is a short walk to the marina. Perfect location if you want to venture out to Cinque Terre or even Portofino.

Lots of space on the room, comfortable bedding and super clean sheets and towels. They did smell clean too. Bathroom was clean. Owner, Lucas, is very customer service oriented. Very close to train station, restaurants and coffee locations. La Spezia Port is a walking distance from his location within a pedestrian area, shops, eateries, etc... I have visited about 50 countries and many hotels with that. I would definitely book them again. No doubt about that.

This hotel is very close to the train station - convenient for travelling to cinque tierre ($2 - 4 euros each way) and minutes away from the old part of La Spezia, which is very nice. For those bringing their car, a completely free parking area is about an 8 minute walk away. Communication with the owner was by WhatsApp and replies were quick. This hotel is comfortable, but keep in mind that proximity to the train means some minor noise at night. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend this hotel.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. Our check in started with our host Luca, the process went smooth and he was very welcoming! He then shows us to our room which was absolutely lovely. Hotel is very clean and close to the train station which was nice also. When I return to La Spezia I’ll be sure to stay here again!

The apartments are housed in a building that is 250 years old. Each of the original suites has been divided in to three units which have been nicely updated. The rooms are small but efficient, although the bed could have been better. Breakfast is across the piazza at The Cafe Elite. The staff at the hotel and cafe were all very helpful and friendly. The location can't be beat. You are about 5 minutes from the train station.

It was an amazing experience, the people was really helpful and kind. The hotel is something a little bit odd, because it is not a traditional hotel, there are some rooms distribuited in different building under one administration. Anyway it was good, in a good place

The property was amazing with a great location. The only downside is that there’s no elevator.

Location is very convenient as it is very close to the train station. Check-in was fast and easy. The staff member explained everything about our stay and accommodations, made some recommendations on what to do in the area, and showed us to our room which was located in the adjacent building. The room was very clean and spacious and was beautifully decorated. Upon check-in, guests are also provided with a coupon for a hot beverage, juice and a croissant at a near-by restaurant, perfect for a small bite to eat before starting your day. We would definitely recommend staying at Affittacamere Lunamar, and hope to be back ourselves someday!

The staff was extremely helpful to allow me to check in late and the location is just few mins away from the train station - very convenient if you are staying for Cinque Terre. The room is small and simple and it’s ok as long as it’s clean. But it’s not - it’s disgustingly dirty. The toilet was smelly and I’m not sure the room was cleaned before I checked in coz the rubbish bin the toilet was filled with others waste. And when I tried to take the shower and lay the foot tower on the floor. The towel was very dirty and you can see from the picture. I’m not sure if other rooms are better or they just accidentally gave me the unprepared room - I didn’t make any complain that night cause I’ve arrived late and the staff left after helping me to check in. I did tell another staff the next morning and he simply said he’s sorry. Understand there’s nothing he could do at that point but I don’t feel he’s taking it seriously even I showed him the picture.

Lunamar is a hidden little gem. It's about 100 yards from the central station in La Spezia. That's perfect if you are planning to head to the Cinque Terrre for the day, but its thick walls meant we never heard any station noise overnight! It's also only a 20 minute stroll down to the port if you are planning to use the boats. Lunamar even has a lovely well-tended courtyard garden where you can sit out when you get back from dinner. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and with lovely soft furnishings. Private secure parking (just round the corner) is also available for a fee (which suited us as our car was packed to the rafters). Breakfast was served a few yards along the road at a lovely little cafe. It ticked every one of our boxes and we would definitely go there again. We recommend it highly.

Ultra clean and comfortable room with a great bathroom. Situated close to the train station. The breakfast was just down the street in a lovely restaurant. They served fresh squeezed blood orange juice and freshly made pastries. If you wanted to get the full English breakfast you got a discount. Perfect stay.

Our hosts were excellent -they helped Us a couple times making phone calls for us and giving us suggestions for restaurants etc. The room was very clean & easyto get to! It was nice to have a kettle in the room for coffee/tea and a little fridge!!
