1st class all round!

Better than expected! As a couple in our 40s without kids, we wanted a relaxing holidays by the beach and pool without the fuzz of loud music, bars and drunk people as you can find more in Puerto del Carmen beach area. - Pros: an upgrade upon arrival, spa service onsite, beautiful view on the beach from the room, comfortable beds and modern furniture, AC, walkable to the front beach. Clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet included. Compare to Puerto del Carmen, the beach of Los Pocillos was very wide, clean and quiet which made enjoyable the walks along the sea. As we wanted quiet holidays the clients were mainly retired people or very young family with only limited amount of kids present in the hotel. - Cons: no regrets in not paying for half-board (£10/day or £15 for one-off). The buffet is good enough for breakfast, fits very much English/German consumers with some flavourless eggs, salami, fruits and sausages. As per the other island in the canary island, good restaurants are rare finds, but there was still options near the hotel within a 10min walk distance. As per supermarkets for essentials. The pool can get busy in sunny days and people tended to pick their lounger in the morning by leaving their towels, even while away and against the hotel policy.

Large rooms. Close to dining and shopping.

Only stayed for one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again without a second thought.

Very nice property with big comfortable rooms. Big swimming pool and beach is directly across from pool.

Really nice break to get away from a cold UK February. Fortunate with the weather, which was warm and breezy. The hotel was great in all respects and an ideal location for us. The Pilates/Yoga/Fitness classes were a great step up from the usual and ideal for us. We would certainly come back here again.

Clean comfortable hotel with good quality food, well cooked, varied and tasty. Our room (1089) was spacious and good sized private patio. Pool was good sized with plenary of sunbeds. Only downsides were no drinking water in the room and the TV was small.

Perfect location on the beachfront, very nice swimming pool and outdoor jakuzzi, available free sauna, good food and friendly staff

+ Hôtel was gréât, very well located and gréât Beach so easily to access with beautiful sunrise. - thé breakfast is OK, no many choice, Just basics, à bit les well for four stars hotel, dinner was worse than breakfast, so if possible don`t take half pension or pension.

Loved being able to walk right out to the beach. Food and drink options were good. Reception service was very helpful and quadlingual!

Rooms lovely and spacious. Aqua aerobics great fun. Stretching and yoga instructor very good. Staff in restaurant, chiefs, Abmel, Caroline very pleasant and nice. Facilities very good. Great variety of food. Pleasant atmosphere. Looking forward to returning again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Looking forward to returning on our next trip to Puerto del Carmen. Quiet enough for a relaxing stay but close enough to the night life of the new town to enjoy the entertainment

Fab stay

Lovely clean hotel. Pool area and snack bar great. Lovely views. As usual, people still stick their towels on sun beds & despite warnings, they are never removed.

Great 2 night stay before going to stay with friends. Great location and good breakfast.

Overall the room was nice and comfortable sheets changed fairly often and same for towels, however bins were empty but floors were just given a quick wipe over as some cotton wipe was in same position for a few days. Good choice of food a bit repetitive. Front reception staff and dining staff pleasant and helpful.

Great location with wonderful team in all areas

Well managed given the current circumstances- such as mealtimes are given 1 hour slots- works well. All tables are well spaced apart, inside and poolside. Food was good but choices are a little reduced for the obvious reasons.

An excellent quiet hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Good food quality. Good little gym. Nice warm pool in a great position off the beach but sheltered from the wind. The hotel location allows an easy walk along the front in either direction. Recommended for a relaxing week.

Not good value for the price .We had to pay for the water with our diner.The chefs dont even look at you and no tea or coffee with diner .The place was full of who but me Germans .

Excellent position , right on beach . Starting to look a little tired but exceptionally clean . 99 percent of staff very pleasant and friendly . Breakfast plenty of choice and what you’d in similar hotels . We found something to our liking every evening at dinner and never skipped a meal or ate out which we normally do. Would not hesitate to stay again .
