Great location, amazing amenities and services!

Wonderful hotel with a great view from the higher floors of the Acropolis. Also the Segway tours are just across the road well worth doing. I would stay they again.

unfortunate check out experience. At check out they suddenly asked to pay more than what’s agreed to in the hotel.com agreement- additional taxes to what was agreed to and that too after I had paid the entire amount due!

From the moment we entered, we were pampered by the staff. They were helpful, efficient, and friendly. Greeted with a glass of refreshing punch and apple tarts was a nice touch! Our room was immaculate and furnished with a full array of useful items. Breakfast was not the typical buffet, rather we were able to order from the lovely menu. I gone this hotel my highest recommendation.

The concierge service was top notch. They were always very attentive to our needs, offered to order us a taxi anytime we were going out of the immediate area, , provided several tips and tourist sites to see, and marked a map to make it easy. They even brought me an espresso to my room because I couldn’t get mine to work (until I figured it out!). Anna was our server at the rooftop restaurant and was fantastic, warm, funny, hospitable. Breakfast was AMAZING and of course everything fresh and plentiful. We would stay there again with no question. It’s in the middle of anything you want to do and the Metro is very close if you choose.

AthensWas was a great little find. The room was comfortable with a small balcony overlooking a quaint garden. The location and walkability to attractions and restaurants was a pleasant surprise. But the highlight is obviously the rooftop with amazing restaurant and views of the Acropolis. 10/10, would recommend and re-book.

Fab property in a great location. Great staff and breakfast. The sound proofing in between the rooms is terrible, you can literally hear every single word, this needs addressing.

Hotel is in excellent location. - easy walk to acropolis but views from some hotel rooms do not face this treasure instead face other buildings. Such a disappointment. Staff hospitable and helpful.

Great location near the Acropolis. Very nicely designed room. Got a suite with 2 full bathrooms and a terrace/balcony. Extraordinary views of the Acropolis from the restaurant. Highly recommended

Will definitely stay here again. The service was great. The location was perfect! Rooms were very comfortable.

You cannot charge 900 per night for a room in which you are forced to wake at 6am and cannot go to sleep before 11 pm. The breakfast and dinner restaurant just above has a tiled floor and chairs without rubber and louter scratching begins at around 6 in the morning when they arrange chairs and continues till after breakfast time. You also hear each guest walking. Easy to fix: put carpet on the floor and rubbers under chairs.

Staff was amazing. When we arrived after long trip late in evening a refreshing drink & snack immediately provided. Included breakfasts were delicious from a varied menu and the view to the acropolis from the upper dining area was beautiful. We want to especially thank the front desk staff that went above & beyond when we found out that our Sea Jet schedule was changed over night to 2 hours earlier that morning. The staff had a taxi at the hotel within minutes and we got to the ferry just in time to board. Would definitely recommend this hotel as also so close to subway and within walking to the acropolis and shopping.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, perfect central location with lovely view of the Acropolis from room and roof top restaurant. Room was a good size and quality, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the roof top restaurant was excellent.

Amazing location steps away from Acropolis Museum and easy walk to most attractions. Food options close and tasty. McDonalds next door but not loud like others mentioned. Good option if you have kids to satisfy them. Greek yogurt and donuts next door yum. Great view of the Acropolis as you enjoy breakfast. Staff was friendly and the room clean. Would stay again and recommend.

Lovely designer hotel that served us perfectly well as a couple.

Me & my wife stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights last week. The location, the room (thanks for the upgrade), the breakfast and most important of all the staff was top notch. We would like to thank them making this trip memorable. %100 recommended, look no where else. Thank you again.

Can’t believe how great the location is. Some hotels are on an excessively busy street. This one is just right- it’s on a tree and cafe lined street. Perfect combination. Staff are amazing- helpful and friendly. After so much research I’m so very glad I chose AthensWas

Absolutely loved the overall experience at AthensWas. All the major attractions were walkable and the staff was super courteous and eager to help. Amazing view of the Acropolis every morning at breakfast was an unbeatable add on.

A very nice small touristy hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small. we had a deluxe. Bathroom is right by bed and did not have a decent mirror in room. Our room was on a lower floor (2d) so basically looked out to the front of the hotel - not great. McDonalds right next door so kind of seedy and lots of kids, etc. My son’s room was in back of hotel. cute balcony but kind of dark. Reviews made me think the front of hotel (“bistro”) would be nicer & more inviting, but I would never think of sitting out there, way too busy with foot traffic and McD’s, etc. Unfortunately we could not keep the balcony doors open at night in our to keep air circulating because of the noise from McD’s and traffic, and fan system was not very useful. It is great location if this is your first time exploring Athens though. They serve an inordinate amount of food at breakfast. Very nicely prepared & I guess having really big individually prepared breakfasts is a real plus for some travelers. Note: They packed breakfast boxes for us one morning and they were really pathetic; not worth the 15€ they charge for breakfasts. (We had 2 rooms, one of us arrived on 3d day & hotel told us they charged €15 a day for extra person in room. One of those days was for the ridiculous hard fruit and hard mini ham & cheese white bread sandwich.)

This place checked all the boxes for me and the trip I wanted to have. This place was centralized to a lot of points of interest. The room was a good size and was really clean. The restaurant was good too. The staff was so amazing and attentive.

Lovely hotel in the middle of everything which makes all attractions easily accessible. My husband and I appreciated the amazing service by the hotel and the personalized approach to make our experience one that we would remember.
