Great view, amazing room.

Hotel was located just on the edge of the shopping area. Restaurant was advertised as open but is not currently due to ownership changes. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with good sized fridge and appliances. Fireplace a treat in the cold weather.

The admin hadn’t seen us come in. There was no bell so we stood and waited for some time before being served.

It is easy to find, neat, clean, plenty of parking and walking distance to dinner. Only issue was that there was no milk, and not a single plate in the place, had I wanted to have breakfast in my room. There were cups, a couple of glasses and wine glasses but other than that, 2 spoons and a fork but no plates or any other cutlery. I'm guessing that is being remedied

A beautiful hotel in a great location with large spacious rooms, comfy bedding and dark room. Loved it.

Some of the fixtures and fittings looked a little tired. The venue itself was handy and served its purpose.

Location is great, just a 10min stroll to the tourist shops. Toilet seat in main bathroom was broken

Very good location for a short walk into Montville. Our room was large and clean but oddly arranged. The location of the furniture and fixtures was inconvenient.

Positives - Rooms are pretty with a lovely view, spa on enclosed balcony is fabulous. Gas fireplace available to use. Air con is great. Staff are lovely. Welcoming friendly lovely. Bed comfy . TV great selection of Chanels. Plenty of parking. Close to shops. Balcony doors soundproofed for some noise dampening from roadway. Does offer limited room service/has onsite restaurant (but not open always and wasn't open during our stay). Negatives - noisy - every step taken in room above echos into your room below *thump thump thump most of night from above*. There is no toilet/bathroom door it's a direct walk in, so you can hear/smell all. Blue light (? Wifi point) behind tv lights up room at night time. Bar fridge with no water ? (you have to fill drinking water for empty glass water container from tap in bathroom. Red flag for cross contamination). Suggest providing bottled water as there is no kitchen tap. (Bring bottled water with you if staying here). Onsite restaurant not open all week so food choices are limited unless you're super organised. Negatives not directly related to the accommodation - Shops in walking distance not open at night during week. Dinner places that were open (2 only at time of stay) close fairly early - don't leave dinner til late time wise mid week.

Although it was clean and well presented- I would not consider this to be luxury accommodation

Manager Donna is fabulous! The room suited my needs very well, unfortunately the microwave didn't work, bit of a pain with a bub. The Wifi was intermittent, & I couldn't get mobile phone service, & the lack of information regarding room service (no information other than "restaurant hours" - no menu for breakfast, delivery times etc) & the restaurant (outside sandwich board has different info to their website) was disappointing & confusing. Access to the room, down a flight of stairs and 4 steps up inside the room was challenging as I have mobility disability, but in fairness to the hotel, I had not mentioned this at booking as it's listed as all-abled access. There are teething issues, but as I said, Donna is great and very willing to make things happy and comfortable for guests.

Such a great lil weekend escape to the Mountains. We have stayed a few times and always love staying here. Great location and we love the spa bath on the balcony overlooking the views.

Okay hotel in a beautiful place. We got a nice apartment that was very big and fine. No breakfast included but we had a kitchen. Laundry facilities are old and not so nice.

Nice hotel made for a relaxing stay. Road noise was an issue if the room doors to the balcony were open so you had to have the room closed up. Bed was very comfortable as were complimentary robes and slippers.

Really great location, a short walk into Montville. Great facilities, great dinner and the Happy Hour was brilliant. Wifi was rather slow.

Beautiful room , lovely breakfast arrived at our room on time great staff Our problem was the spa only worked on end , not good when you want to have a spa together.. the whole reason i booked this particular room. Also no teaspoons to make our coffee

Great location very spacious room. The room was however a bit dark needed lights in kitchenette part and tub was dirty.

Three bedroom apartment perfect for a family stay fir a wedding.

Arrived early and was able to store perishable items with reception until room was ready Bath was awesome and had one each night

Excellent place for accessibility. Staff at both restaurant and accommodation were helpful, friendly and professional. Room was lovely with fabulous private spa area with lovely view.

Modern clean rooms with spa and views. Good location walking distance to Montville shops & restaurants.

A good base from to explore Montville. The facility is very clean and the room is spacious. I would recommend to pay the extra to have a valley view.

Great place

The place was lovely, block out blinds would have been nice and attention to detail with lights falling out of the roof in the bathroom could have been fixed before our stay. The bed was comfortable, the size perfect, was clean and the staff were lovely.

Room was nice but it clearly hadn't been vacuumed or mopped. Location was good and quiet considering it is on the main road. Easy parking. Easy to check in.

We enjoyed our weekend getaway at Altitude. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Loved the spa and fireplace. We’ll definitely be back.
