What a wonderful experience, it is the perfect location, the views are magnificent and their hospitality just amazing, wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was wonderful about this property. The room was lovely with everything we needed. The property is gorgeous with its own waterfall, fields, horses, sheep and resident dogs. Location was perfect to go to many area hikes and attractions. Host was friendly and provided a booklet of area history and local places to check out. As a plus, there was a lovely reception area with homemade baked good as well as books, food to share etc. I honestly I wished I had stayed several more nights here. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with visitors.

Best stay for us on our round trip of Iceland. Very clean. Beautiful and comfortable suite. Warm welcome. Felt completely safe and comfortable leaving our suite unlocked while we were on the property. We were welcomed to wander the property, interact with the horses, sheep and 2 very friendly well trained dogs. Hot tub in the evenings with a view was so relaxing. This was truly a hard place to leave. A little slice of heaven on earth

We had the best stay at The Garage! Beautiful views, spacious and clean room, the kindest hosts and the friendliest dogs and cat! Definitely the highlight of our trip to Iceland.

anna and staff was amazing! i total welcoming home environment with the country farm appeal. All needs catered to, even the dogs were friendly! we fully loved the experience, highly recommend!

The property and the hotel was fantastic. Probably the best and most unique place I've ever stayed. It was gorgeous. In the evening we soaked in the hot tub while in the company of a beautiful waterfall. Would definitely go back.

We loved the decor, history, and overall 'feel' of the Garage. The fresh baked goods were a welcome treat each day! Playing catch with the farm dogs was also fun.

This was our favorite stay in all of Iceland. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The cottage is adorable with stunning views of the mountain & sea. Parking is included and there is a fantastic hot tub too. It’s extremely quiet, clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, and the beds are very comfortable. Anna and her family were amazing hosts, provided a booklet with nearby attractions and restaurants and even baked freshly daily treats! Highly recommend 😊

This was one of our only bookings with a reception. The room was very clean with a very nice bathroom. The free cake upon arrival and the hot tub were a nice touch. The beautiful mountain backdrop was enchanting. They also make available food left behind by guests, very often untouched. It was however very pricey and its location, although enchanting, is very isolated. You will need to drive at least 30 minutes in both directions to buy groceries. There is one restaurant near by but it closes at around 8:30 pm.

The garage was our favorite place to stay on our entire trip. Traveling with two 19-year-olds they were in awe of everything from the moment we drove up. The front of the building faces the water and the back faces the mountain with a waterfall (which they hiked to). The owners are wonderful. Loved the baked goods every day in the lobby and if you forget something you will certainly find it in the lobby kitchen. And the hot tub at night was perfect. The location is situated in the middle of many waterfalls, glaciers, and other sites. It is remote so make sure you plan for food (we had a kitchenette). There are restaurants within 10-15 minutes but they close early. Perfect home away from home.

Beautiful location

This is a gorgeous spot just off the Ring Road. The room and common area are modern country, spacious and cozy. We had a patio with a little ocean view. Anna and Siggi were there to welcome us when we arrived, as well as their two friendly dogs (be careful if they lure you into a game of fetch, they won’t want you to leave). Anna had made some delicious almond bread, we enjoyed that along with a walk to Elf Town.

Anna was a great host. Like other guests, we also found a cake and cookies ready the the shared kitchen. Location of this property is just amazing!

Incredible location with its own waterfall, view of the South Coast and Westman Islands and snacks made every day. Nice hot tub, friendly dogs, and a cat.
