Oh my gosh! What a wonderful experience we had staying at Elmere House. This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast and we could not have picked a more perfect place! Michael and Bill were such gracious hosts. They offered suggestions on entertainment and restaurants in the area. The whole place is just beautifully kept and decorated...inside and out! Breakfast was phenomenal! Visiting with them both and the other guests while we ate was the best; it felt like you were with family. We will definitely be back next year. -Karen & Paul from NY

As repeat visitors, we've always enjoyed the highest quality of service at Elmere House. The home is beautifully decorated and well maintained, with wonderful outside areas for lounging under massive shade trees, relaxing by the firepit, and watching all of the birds make frequent visits to the water fountain and birdseed offerings. Bill and Michael are fabulous hosts and so friendly, and Bentley (their dachshund) is so sweet and welcoming!

The Elmere House Bed and Breakfast was incredible in every way! Their daily breakfasts were so amazing—so delicious! Michael and Bill, the inn keepers, worked so hard to make our stay the best. We have stayed in B and B’s all over the world, and this one comes in #1. Our suite was large and beautiful with a fireplace, four-poster bed, and gorgeous pine floors. This place definitely earns a five-star rating!

The room was small but very nicely decorated and clean. Bathtub was bit of a challenge with inner lining of the sheer curtain touching you from all sides. It’s a free standing bathtub converted into a shower. What I want to rave about is the breakfast that was served! Micheal, the host, was absolutely pleasant and made sure we were comfortable and well fed. I think I must’ve had the best blueberry pancake! Soft, pillowy, and chewy at the same time! I’m gonna remember those for awhile! Bill, the other host who’s also the cook is the best!

This was the second part of a honeymoon trip to New England. The house was very pretty, especially the landscaping. It was located so that we could go both north and south along the coast to explore. Mike and Bill were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was delicious, and more food than we could finish each day. The room was neat and clean, and the bed comfortable. The hosts were also very careful with their Covid precautions.

We had a wonderful stay! The owners were so friendly, kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was amazing! Three courses with homemade cinnamon bread and eggs Benedict! This was our favorite place to stay on our trip in Maine! Also, loved that they required masks inside the building and at breakfast!
