Lovely spot for a solo business stay! Really friendly staff, safe and peaceful setting, plus walking distance to lots of nice restaurants. Will be back!

Very good venue and location. There are some service quirks as you would expect from a guesthouse. But the rest is exceptional value for money.

I stay here whenever I visit Joburg - its a lovely setting with a central swimming pool and rooms scattered around - the staff are very friendly as is the wonderful owner Sue. The food is excellent and the honour bar brings out the best in guests! - very well located from the business district but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city to make you feel you are in a country retreat

I did not have a car and I had to use an Uber to get to a restaurant so no in-house dining. I was offered a Mr Delivery menu but did not wish to eat in my room or in the breakfast area. The bedroom was very comfortable but my bathroom not great. Breakfast was superb except for the sharing of the farm style tables

This is a wonderful little hotel tucked away in a suburb of Johannesburg. At first glance it may seem to be in the middle of nowhere, but it is actually quite convenient. Try Moyo African restaurant nearby and the Italian restaurant a block away. Although they offer a shuttle service, the best and cheapest way to go is by using Uber. Download the app before you leave the U.S., and you will save almost half.

it was spectacular, all around.... not one negative things to say. the owner was so sweet, Peter the guard was so helpful and everyone was so helpful and calmed any anxiety I had. I was initially very concerned about picking places that would treat Black American right, I made an absolutely fantastic choice and we will be back!!!

This place was nice and surrounded by a beautiful garden. It is located in conscientious place. Sue and her entire staff are extremely nice and accommodating. And make it a point to personally talk to you. Sue even called in the day we left to apologize for not being there in person to wish us safe travels back home.

Very comfortable room but noisy next to busy road and with a lot of stairs. Very poor tv channel selection. Breakfast was basic at best. You can do a lot better for the price they charge.

Second stay here - superb leafy B&B in quiet street - but with staff and service of the highest order.

Good hotel for a night or two. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff were super friendly. They allowed me to check in early which was very nice of them. The room was big and clean. The only negative is they didnt have an aircon in the room. However there was a stand fan. The location is not so great either. Its in a residential area so you will need to take a taxi to go anywhere. Taxi from the airport to the hotel cost about 500 rand.

The stay here was great. The rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I loved all the green areas surrounding the poolside and the gardens. The staff was really friendly. The only thing I could mention was that the wifi signal was little low but it still worked, so I dont really have any complaints.

Very clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Lovely pool & outdoor seating area in tranquil garden. Very relaxing after a day watching the cricket & the staff couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great guest house for our only night in Johannesburg before we went on safari in Kruger. Felt safe and was a great introduction to South Africa!
