I want to give a big shout out to Johnny for being so curious and helpful. Also thank you Johnny for recommending me to a fabulous tour guide by the name of Edison Rondon. He was my driver from the airport to the hotel and I also hired him to give me a tour of the city. We spent 7 hours going all over Santo Domingo and he really made the experience very pleasant and I learned allot about his country. Very polite, professional, funny and smart. It was a great experience.

Great property definitely will be back

It went wrong from the check in. Please note that it is completely weird, the fact that the concierge (Milagros) was not behind the front desk, but sitting in one of dining table with a computer. As soon as I checked and made my payment upfront, I asked for my welcome drink, Milagros checked my reservation and said that it was a beer, they brought the beer and then left. I then asked for the bottle of wine (gold member) and she proceeded to say that she apologize since it was either/or, and if they gave me wine, I would have to pay for the beers. I told her that was her mistake, she brought the wine but insisted that I needed to pay for the beers. Never an apology, even knowing that it was my birthday. Never gave me the welcome drink, I purchased my own wine and return the one she gave me. The room had only solar shade, there was no black out, so at 6am I was up. The overnight concierge was wearing sandals, and at breakfast we wanted some mimosas, but they ran out of cava and prosecco. I left before check out! Customer service is very poor. Like I told her, knowing that she never offered the welcome drink, knowing that she never said either/or, knowing that I had a bad experience there in the past and knowing that it was my birthday weekend; she was supposed to get approval from Management and leave the wine bottle at not cost, like I told her, it was not about the wine and the cost of it, it was her customer service skills. They have completely lost a customer.

Bedrooms were very clean. Food was very limited

We booked it for a night and our flight was early the next day so we didnt get to tour the grounds however the courtyard was gorgeous. Owner was great and very facilitating. Short walk from restaurants and shopping. The bed was more comfortable than the all inclusive we stayed at before getting here.

Great location and Rocio was super helpful with everything we needed. She called us a taxi and made sure they weren’t giving us the high tourist price

Great location and room. The staff engaged me via whatsapp and it was a really quick and easy check in. Breakfast was great. We had a bad experience with the night staff woman. She wasn't helpful or responsive to us, but the sayshift person apologized.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Luca Hotel . Johnny and all the staff at the Luca Hotel made our stay amazing . Breakfast was amazing and it was beautiful to stay in a residence built in the 1600.

I met all my expectations, Rocio, Johnny an Milly are the best hosts!!! The place is a little part of history. The place is amazing!! I Will always recommend it.

The room at Hotel Luca is very comfortable, clean, and tidy. Ignacio is charming, and his team is very attentive.

The personnel of the Hotel was very friendly and always willing to make our stay very comfortable. They communicated before our trip and arranged the transport from the airport. The hotel was very well located making many historical places located iat walking distance. The facilities were beautiful preserving the Colonial style whilea very well maintained.

Food and service were great. The room was also very clean and made us enjoy our stay. Its manager was extremely pleasant and kind and Johnny, Front Desk/Security/Waiter is the nicest person and always had a smile for us. I definitely recommend Luca!

The Luca Oxo House was a wonderful hotel. The hotel was very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here!

1st night we had no power and it was terribly hot! we left the next day to another hotel in downtonw eventhough I had paid an extra night.

It's a cute place but a bit run down. The rooms had a bit of an moldy smell and will need a bit more up keep. The staff was so sweet and nice. Breakfast is basic. The location is good but the place definitely needs more TLC.

We liked the character of the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were excellent. The owners and the staff were very attentive to the personal needs of every guest. One of the things they did for me was to make a special trip to get me gluten free snacks. It was very much appreciated.

The bath room need be looked into… the pitch on shower stall need to be adjusted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Luca Hotel! The courtyard was incredibly cute, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were amazing and so accommodating. There were tons of bars and restaurants near the hotel. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to anyone spending time in the colonial city.

The place was really cute and everybody was really friendly, even though we only speak English. They helped us with finding good restaurants and it is located right next to The main tourist attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you like a smaller venue.

Comfortable room. Good breakfasts given in the patio. On the other hand, both Rooftop areas were accessible, but the bar was closed, and the jacuzzi was too cold to be enjoyable.

The staff was absolutely amazing, so was the patio courtyard? The water was hot and cold in the shower the TV didn’t work, and there was a lot of little things that needed to be fixed to help with the value to the cost of staying there. Luckily, the staff made out for it. They were so courtesy, courteous and inviting and helpful. Especially this European guy that I was like a manager. He was really great.

Overall I liked Hotel Luca.
