The hostel is fantastic, super clean and comfy, and perfectly located for the DMZ tour. I waited till the end of my Korea trip to write this review so I can honestly say this was the best place I stayed in, in all of Korea. Yoon is a fantastic host, genuinely wanting guests to have a good experience whilst travelling. He set up a bbq dinner for me and another guest and was so generous with everything including his year old kimchi and 1.5 yr old ginseng soju. We had really nice chats, and I not only had the best experience of Korean hospitality here but I gained a friend. Yoon also picked me up from the train station and dropped me off at the tour office the next morning (he does this for his guests if he's not working). A really fantastic place, I can't recommend it enough!

This guesthouse is the best guesthouse we've been to in Korea! Everything is so clean and fresh but best of all is Mr Yoon, the host! He always made sure we had everything we needed. He showed us around alot and drove us to the dmz zone. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 2 extra nights! We spent amazing evenings at the guesthouse together with the host! Breakfast was really yummi with good croissants!

The owner of the DMZ Stay is wonderful. He helped us with everything, drove us to Imjingak and Heiri and answered all our questions. We enjoyed our stay a lot and drank a lot of delicioua coffee 😄. Thank you.

This place is the pinnacle of Korean hospitality! It is cute, clean, has nice coffee and the owner Yoon is extremely kind and helpful. He took us on tour and always made sure we had what we needed. He speaks good English and answered a lot of our questions about the area and the Korean culture. We now consider him a friend. We’re very happy about our stay.

We enjoyed barbecue there( 20000 KRW extra). It is a nice quiet place. If you want to read books, the book shelves have got both English and Korean books. If you want to watch movies, you can enjoy a "cinema" in your room, just ask the host, Mr. Yoon.

The host was incredible. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. We felt very welcome from the second we arrived, and had no issues with communication. Overall Yoon Sul Hyun was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Would stay again!

The host was very helpful and friendly. He gave us some Chuseok food and gave us a ride to the bus stop and English village. I would def recommend staying there when going to Paju.

There were soap bars instead of body wash and hand soap. I can't use it because am picky.

Location is great. It’s walking distance to the DMZ park. Jeun is a great host and will do utmost to make you feel at home. A tip: stay at least 2 nights to explore this area besides the DMZ tours itself.
