Cleanliness, terrible mattress, staff not helpful

1. No service support at all. Wind locked my door with the key inside around 12am. I was locked outside of my apartment all night with 41f in the middle of the wild forest with bears and they contacted me only after 12 hours after that. 2. Throw your mattress with giant hole in the middle because you won’t be able to get any rest there. 3. Old TV with no smart tv. Keep your cable TV for your home. You’re in 21 century now with streaming. Poor shower stream. Water barely flowing. I’m disappointed that stayed in that place. Worst stay in my live

Great location, 15 minutes from Palisades. Fireplace was nice.

From the moment I stepped foot in this apartment, I was in contact with management about the disgusting conditions of this room. I have stayed in a variety of AirBnB’s, rental apartments, and hotels around the world and I have not seen an accommodation at this level of uncleanliness. Upon entering the kitchen, there was a rancid smell of cigarette smoke that did not dissipate throughout our stay. Throughout the carpet on the staircase, there were splinters and sharp objects that stabbed our feet. After I took a shower after checking in around 4pm, I wrapped one of the towels on my head and a long, curly black hair that obviously wasn’t mine came out of it. There were black hairs in the shower. There were black hairs in the dishes and mugs. There were black hairs on the walls. These demonstrate an obvious lack of care to cleaning. As a cherry on top, there were no toiletries as advertised and we had to use hand soap to wash our bodies as there was a snow blizzard happening around this time. I sent pictures and documentation to management throughout my stay and was in contact twice a day. Each time, they assured me that they were working to address these issues ASAP. They never did. Staff did leave a few small bottles of shampoo on our second night, but the bathroom was even dirtier after this drop off. We had to purchase our own towels. Leave it to say, this stay was disappointing and disgusting. In addition to incompetent, reckless, and uncaring management, the rental agency made misrepresentations about the state of this room from the beginning. To those considering booking this place, note that this is not a hotel. It is an Airbnb with minimal cleaning in disguise.

The meals were wonderful! Great variety of foods served so everyone could find something they enjoyed. The coffee was great, too, and the size of the mugs was appreciated. The staff were all bright, cheerful, and exceedingly helpful.

The plates could have been warmed, especially for breakfast which was served outside in October.
