Location quite central. Parking easy enough. TV good. Very good communication through emails. Communal bathroom was clean. Kitchen was stocked well enough.
I'm not too enamored seeing electrical sockets behind beds not properly screwed to the walls. You can almost get your fingers behind the wall socket. That's plainly dangerous.
The downstairs room which was what I was given can be noisy especially if other guests aren't respectful enough to keep their voices down. The kitchen is directly outside the room and they should shut the door if they want conversation first thing in the morning. Maybe a polite notice might help here.
The bed was average, not particularly comfortable along with the pillows. I know it was fairly cheap considering so how do you weigh this all up against price? I doubt I'd stay there again as I'd like a bit more comfort next time.

The bedroom was nice, it had sleepers some towels and a tv, THW Wi-Fi worked perfectly. I was tired after a 10 hours flight and the bed was really comfy I had a good rest.
The entry is too small and I arrived with one large suitcase and 2 smaller ones, If you bring with you lots of luggage you will had a hard time getting everything in also the stairs are really steep so forget about carrying them all the way up.

As cheap as it gets at £36. There’s a washing machine, ironing board & iron. Fridge freezer with plenty of milk. Little boxes of cereal & tins of beans. Quiet street. Clean. Don’t think they were staff but a man helped me take my suitcase up the stairs. Wifi.
The stairs were very narrow, managed to get my suitcase down without incident though. The bedside lamp didn’t work, could’ve done with that. No freeview channels on the tv, problem with the aerial I think, there was free content available though, watched a pretty good movie.

Finding the house was easy, parking in the street likewise. The bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was Help Yourself in the kitchen, I expected that from the info received, but it was very limited, I would have expected a choice of brown bread as well as white, marmalade portions as well as jam, maybe Marmite portions, and a better selection of cereals, bearing in mind that there was no fruit, some eggs would have been good too ( I realise that bacon etc was not practical in this situation)
No instructions for the TV, I would expect to be able to access the main terrestrial channels, BBC, ITV, C4, C5 etc. but had to resort to my laptop.
No staff/owner around, and no contact details for any assistance (such as the TV issue)

TV didn't have the channels set up. They apologised for this and I was told they changed the provider. I watched the news on my laptop. WiFi excellent.
Be aware there is one bathroom with a toilet and no separate toilet, so sometimes you have to wait during peakhour (in the morning) which is manageable for me.

The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the bathroom was clean. It was a very pleasant stay as the street was quiet and I could get a good night sleep even with the window open!
The room was cozy and has a tv with 1000 different apps to choose from, a wardrobe, mini fridge and even a nice lamp next to the bed. Highly recommend it as it is very affordable and a pleasant stay

Felt homely and nobody bothers you. Comfortable bed and new furnishings. Access to kitchen to make your own meals, do laundry etc. The other guests were nice.
The very steep stairs may be a problem for some people. Location of the bathroom (on ground floor, through kitchen) is not the most convenient (also the fact that there's only one bathroom that has both the shower and the toilet, so it may be busy at certain times).

Great place to stay
There was nothing I disliked about my stay. I only wished I stayed in the ground floor flat because I have problems with my feet.
I look forward to my next stay there later thos year, and hopefully, the owners will accommodate me, in the ground floor room.

The room opposite was incredibly noisy with loud children playing until gone 23:30 with their door ajar. The mattress is simply unfit for use (room 3) I've read a few reviews mentioning it but clearly nothings been done. It's genuinely one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I've tried to sleep on. So bad that I had to lay on top of the duvet to avoid the springs as much as possible.

The decor was modern. Very warm. A nice dining room to the left on entering the property. Kitchen and bathroom beyond that room. Surprised to see a small fridge in our room. Bed was comfortable.
Parking was horrendous! The web site says 'free parking' but doesn't say it's on the street outside which is like every street in the neighbourhood: chock-a-block with cars! The web site promised 'tea/coffee maker in all rooms'. There wasn't one in our room. Also promised was a TV but it wasn't connected to an aerial so only YouTube could be watched! There was no bulb in my bed-side light. Breakfast was quite strange. Choice of cornflakes or another similar product and multiple cans of baked beans in the cupboard! Bread and milk provided. A bit surprising to say the least.
Well, it was OK for one night, but I'm sorry, we won't be returning.
