The property was pretty good. The front desk staff was excellent. The room was clean except for the carpet which was filthy. Our feet were filthy after walking barefoot after showering. Carpet needs deep cleaning or replacement.

First and foremost, I wanted to do a check-in closer to 3 PM than 4 PM, the listed time. I had a very special event to attend. I called the night before and asked if a check in at 3 pm would be possible. The man on the phone, Nick, then told me that this would 100% be fine, and I should arrive at 3 PM to check into my one room. Upon reaching and attempting to check in in at 3:15 PM, I was met with a super rude young lady who informed me that my request would not accommodated and to come back at 3:30 PM. Upon returning at 3:37 PM, I was then told "yeah I'm not checking you in until 4". I then inquired if anything could be done to speed up the process and was informed "I'm not going to rush the housekeepers, you'll just have to wait and I can call you". I didn't get a call. I am just super confused on how you can speak and treat someone like this, especially after they are given false information. I couldn't even get a little respect from this individual when I have a special event I want to attend, which I had to be late to. I didn't even get an "I'm sorry". The other staff at the location are super nice and empathized with me. If you are reading this, pick another hotel. The online website says breakfast is served and there is no breakfast on site. A word to the wise, if someone is rude to you at the front, do not book a hotel room here. There are much better options that have breakfast included and won't give you false information.

Bad service. Not very clean. Shower head and water flow very bad.

Good spot. Lots of trees toward the back, grass. Good parking.

Old and very dated property. In need of updating and modernization!

Good place to stay in Traverse City

All around a great experience, very clean, staff was polite, the area was nice and close to downtown.

Major water leak in tub/shower

Our room was not clean when we got back in the evening. Toilet ran forever. Did not think it was a clean room with clean sheets. AC was loud.

Internet is very bad. Very inestable and slow. And it’s important because not all cellular providers work in this area. Besides that everything in exelent

We really enjoyed our stay here with our dogs. It's in a very convenient area, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby open 24/7. Nice pool and hot tub. It we ever end up in Traverse City area again, I would stay here .

Friendly staff, quiet room on the second floor. Clean and comfortable. A nice and simple place to stay, would stay again!

Stay was nice, room was clean, nice staff. nice pool, had ice machine. My only issue is the walls are thin and we could hear next door pretty easily.

On-line the hotel was listed as “pet friendly”. When I checked in, I was asked if I had a pet, I replied that we had a cat. The clerk then said, “we don’t allow cats”. She finally said, But, I’ll go ahead and let you stay since you already paid. It would have been nice to actually see a friendly face at the front desk. There was no “welcome” , no “thank you, I hope you enjoy your stay”. Definitely. not a good first impression. The room was REALLY small. I have never seen such a small hotel bathroom. The furniture was very worn and outdated. Our door was so hard to open, you had to put your whole body into it in order for it to open. This hotel is in need of major improvements. It was nothing like the pictures on-line. Very disappointing.

When I checked into your room, it was not clean so I only stayed one night (June 30th) with our dog as I was too tired to find someplace else to sleep. Your room was definitely not cleaned, the shower was backing up and not draining, there were no toiletries in the room, and the room smelled bad. I was too disgusted with your location to go through the checkout process and I needed to leave as I had a place I needed to be. I am again requesting a refund for the nights of June 30th to July 3rd. If corporate sees these messages, please simply go to this location unannounced, look for yourself, and there will be no more questions needed. Normally I understand regarding the checkout process and cancellation fees but in this case, this is not acceptable. I could not even justify bringing my dog back because I can't risk bringing fleas home.

It was good

The staff was very friendly and nice. The floor of the room was filthy. We found that our feet turned black if we briefly walked on it without sandals. We stayed for 3 nights and had to wear sandals or shoes the entire stay. We also made sure our 3 year old did not put his hands on the floor. The bathroom was also moldy and the bath faucet for temp was next to impossible to use.

We specifically stayed at this place due to the fact that they had a hot tub. We were never notified it was not working and it actually was closed for the entire season. It made us scramble but in the end we just sucked it up and stayed anyways. We did enjoy the pool on a hot day!

It was nice too be able to park right at the door to our room. The pool was also nice after a long hot day out and about.

Great for access to beaches, restaurants and shopping.

Convenient location but our room was in poor condition. Paint chips all over the room and bathroom, bathroom door was separating apart, and the bathroom door was dirty like it hasn’t been cleaned since it was hung. Also very disappointed when I checked in I was told the gas company was shutting the gas off for 3 hours. I asked if the rates were going to be adjusted for the inconvenience and they said they already were which was not true at all! They charged me the same rate as when I reserved it months ago when they said they just found out the day before so the rate was never changed.

Girl in the front office was super nice and helpful

The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The rooms are kept clean. And, they allow dogs!

Matresses were hard, and air conditioners very loud. Did not sleep well. Bathrooms small and sparse. Very concerning issue with an outlet strip having T.V., 2 lamps, refrigerator, internet box, and coffee maker all plugged into it.
