Breakfast, mid day treats and location are excellent

not handicap friendly. no elevator no fridge in room.

Beautiful cottage and very comfortable rooms. The location is steps from the water and downtown but tucked away enough so it was quiet. The afternoon cookies and treats were nice and we enjoyed time in the parlor after dinner and drinks to wind down and relax.

we visited on our 1 year anniversary and had a wonderful stay. the breakfast and snacks were delicious and it is within walking distance to so much.

This Bed and Breakfast was the perfect place for our honeymoon. The property/room was beautiful, the breakfast and snacks were exceptional, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Jill and Will were so helpful during our check in and provided us with a special honeymoon surprise and Echo was energetic and knowledgeable of the area. We liked it so much we extended our stay and look forward to visiting the property again!

Pam J. Says The Inn has new owners who are making great strides to improve on an hourly basis. Very pleasant owners and staff. 3PM fresh cookies, fresh coffee and tea all day. Great 8am -9:30am breakfast served with 2 choices of meals. Our room was very elegant and spacious, prepared for royalty. Most of the Inn and suites are furnished with refinished or perfect artifacts of the past, Very well planed down to the simplest thing as placement of fruit in a basket to fresh flowers in vases in the common areas.!! 10 minute walking distance to the whale cruise departures. 5 minute walking distance to main street shops. Private and secluded. This is a hidden treasure in Bar Harbor.

You cut through a bank parking lot to find this hidden treasure., There is a street sign marked "The Field" hard to notice due to all the human activity crossing the needed path through the bank lot to the Inn. You enter past the bank on a gravel drive to the 1st Inn to which we stayed at. Such had a small circular drive at the entrance which was recently re-graveled. Such was probably needed,. I feel that the circular entryway should be a cobblestone drive to coincide with the Inns Era
