We had the best time at “High-Tide Haven”. The condo was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need, from a pack-n-play, beach umbrella, to a curling iron. Plenty to do and see at the resort and minutes away from restaurants. Cathy was the BEST host! I highly recommend booking your next trip here.

We had a GREAT stay at this condo during the holiday weekend. The condo itself is clean, well appointed and had tons of extras. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We loved all the board games for the kids and the coffee maker was perfect for making morning coffee and sitting on the deck (an essential part of any beach weekend!). The pool, slide, beach. miniputt and pickleball courts all make "A Place at the Beach" one of our favorite places to stay in Atlantic Beach. We will definitely be back to this condo, highly recommend!

This condo was great! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more to enjoy our stay! The resort amenities were great for the kids. The owners were great and respond quickly to any messages!

The condo was well appointed. There are toys for kids as well as puzzles and board games. We appreciated the beach wagon available for use. The property itself is fantastic and we enjoyed the outdoor pool and water slide.

This was an excellent place to stay and Kathy is a wonderful host. She has thought of every little detail. Everything was very clean and well organized. She had so many items stocked from games for the family, clothes steamers, beach kart and chairs just few things that made our stay a little easier. This is beautiful property, lots of fun for families and right next to the beautiful beach!!

When we arrived our family was greeted by Steve and Cathy. They were amazing!! There were so many little extra they had thought to include to make our stay a perfect. We were so pleased we wanted to extend our stay, but, as expected they were already booked. It is not hard to see why. This is certainly a place we will return to! We had a great stay! Everything was really nice! The facility had several activities for the whole family. The beach was great because it wasn’t crowded and there were so many beautiful locations to visit around the area.

We have stayed at the "Place at the Beach" condos resorts before in both Atlantic Beach and Myrtle Beach. The community facilities have never disappointed. The newer beach ramp was especially appricated for not having to lug your beach items through sand dunes. This was the first time we stayed in this condo or with this owner. She really sets the bar high with ammenities. I wrongly doubted what would be there. She isn't false advertising, it really has everything you need for your beach week there. All ages were thought about. All you need is your clothes. What a relief not trying to load a sand wagon, sand toys, beach chairs, games, and all the other bulky stuff normally required. There was even a play station. The unit is one of the smaller ones but is layed out to optimize space well and didn't feel cramped for our family of three. The beds were very comfortable! We'll definatly stay with this owner again on future trips.

We had a wonderful stay- the owners were very responsive and accommodating. Our rental was very clean and well stocked - we had everything we needed and more! Would defiantly stay here again!

This place has everything you need. Beach cart, boogie boards, large shade canopy for beach, ice cooler for beach, board games, Roku TV’s in each room for logging in to your favorite streaming channel. Kitchen had everything needed to make and have dinner at the room. There is only 1 thing about the condo property that I would change. That would be to make bigger balconies so a family of 4 could have dinner out there. The balconies are small and just have seats for 2 people.

Great place to stay!!

We stayed over the rainy, cool Memorial Day weekend, but despite that, we had a very nice time thanks to the bright, cheerful, comfortable space we rented. The owners have thought of EVERY convenience, we didn’t have to pack anything besides our clothes, and when you step inside you feel like you’re at your own charming, private beach hut, not a single unit in a larger complex. It’s located in a quiet area of Atlantic Beach and has its own beach access. The complex itself looks modest on the outside, but is very clean and has a nice outdoor (with huge slide!) and indoor pool and a large lawn where my teen daughters enjoyed playing volleyball when the rain cleared. They also enjoyed sitting at a fire pit on the property. Close to Atlantic Beach restaurants and a very short drive to Morehead City and Beaufort (where we caught a ferry to see the wild horses on Shackleford Banks). Highly recommend this rental to families with kids of any age.
