My family and I had a great time at this cottage! The views and location were amazing and Doris was really quick with answering any questions I had before we got there and while we were there.

Two sets of families stayed at this property and felt we was plenty of room. The house is located on a beautiful property with an amazing view. Some lawn maintenance would be nice but not a deal breaker. The house is an older log cabin and could use some updating and maybe a good vacuuming and carpet cleaning. The property was not stocked with firewood and it did not have a dishwasher which was missed. The host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Great cottage and awesome location. Very clean and spacious. They were responsive hosts and made us feel looked after. The property needs better maintenance for this price range. The games tables upstairs were broken and couldn’t be used. A few parts of the lower deck were broken and others falling apart. Dangerous for kids and elderly. Lots of weeds and outgrown bushes all around too. Overall, we were happy with the experience, but would like to know that these issues are taken care of before booking it again.

Property met all our expectations, enjoyed from the sitting room, the view was spectacular and met our needs.

beautiful view, loads of potential but not ready to be rented for that kind of money,until all repairs/work is done to property including professional fumigator for bugs and ants and spiders and professionally cleaned and basement needs dehumidifier to combat dampnessand musty smell.Only one bed was extremely comfortable in upstairs master,all the rest were hard as a rock.There was overflowing garbage can and old tent infront of garages,roof half metal,half shingles(not finished)garage door peeling badly,garbage bags in garage probably from previous renters,bbq ignitor didnt work and so rusty should be replaced.Cobwebs in kitchen,light in kitchen was full of dead bugs,water pressure was very low for baths etc..dead bugs in bathroom downstairs and large and small ants seen insideLarge spiders in gamesroom as wel.We cleaned fridge before putting our food into it as well as bbq.Crank in master bedroom didnt close properly,we had to get a ladder outside to close it.Small bathroom by front door toilet was dirty,stove was hard to see as some digital numbers worn.There was no shortage of supplies and wood which was nice.lots chairs for campfire which was nice.deck desperate need of staining,even just front so it doesnt look deserted.Its a great property,loads of potential but needs a lot of attention.We would definitely go back but only if there were changes made.It would seem to us that someone acquired the property to turn it into a vacation rental,but it is just not fully ready.
