1. Apartment: Far from it. This is a renovated room in an apartment; with bathroom and kitchenette. (with shared hallway). 2. Minimal ventilation: Only window above bed overlooking sometimes noisy corridor. Window in bathroom opens onto plumbing shaft. 3. Linen: Pillows and duvet (noted when we left) old, full of yellow stains, unhygienic! 4. Towels: Old. One set for the week. 5. Floor plastic rug with cigarette burns. 5. Cockroach infestation: Advised host, who send someone to spray. Provided extra can of doom. Had to spray three times a day or more. Odour lingered in room, until the next morning because of poor ventilation. 6. Dining table: Far from it. Small fitted counter for single person. 1 chair. We're avid travelers and have stayed in many places. This has been the biggest disappointment and waste of money! We stayed on spending as little time as possible in the room to avoid the possible protracted process of reimbursement in the event we cancelled. Advice to future guests...check out your options in Sandton before booking.

The location is hard to beat walking distance safely to Mandela Square and train. Security and solar power backup is excellent. Really smart and functional which allows self catering in the compact space. Friendly and responsive host

The studio and superior is compact thus opt for the one bedroom large unit if you need the space and have a longer stay

We booked two apartments at Marley, the place was across the road from the conference centre and sandton city which was very convenient. The decor was very beautiful and chic and cleverly designed. Our one bedroom unit was very spacious and had a big lounge. The studio was compact but served its purpose. The solar backup was excellent and covers all appliances and the lift. We will be back.
