While the facilities were obviously architectually planned and built well, cleanliness is superficial only. My biggest complaint is the priority that guests are lowered to in sacrifice to the comfort of the staff. If you look at where the staff park -right at the nearest and most convenient spots, leaving guests to use the distant parking spots- you'd think that guests were at the bottom of the priority list. Knowing JAL's record, I cannot believe that such a policy exists. So this must just be a lack of company rules being enforce. I can tell you from three decades' experience living in Japan that the Japanese are not going to complain to the hotel, but they will make sure to complain to potential future guests. Myself, on the other hand, I don't let sleeping dogs lie. There are other things that I wasn't pleased about, but I'll just focus on this, as it really was ubiquitous.

Loved the room and the VIP benefit of the free wine. The bathrooms are outdated, however. The beach was beautiful. A kid’s splash pad would be amazing.

The pool and beach are so nice. In addition, the breakfast is variable and so delicious, we were not bored of it.
The shopping and restaurants area is a little far, however, you can get there by bus or it takes about 15 minutes on foot.

The rate was fine but the customer service was unsatisfactory. I already checked into the room and when I came back to the room I noticed that someone gained access and fixed the room again for unknown reasons. When trying to make a request I kept getting put on hold and when I followed up there was alot of miscommunication. There was no follow-up on customer service’s end on my request and decided to leave it be - unresolved.

I was underwhelmed by pretty much everything in the hotel except for the Japanese restaurant inside the building. The mattress felt like cardboard boxes with a thing layer of cushion on top, the bathroom was “clean” but not renovated in some time. The hallways still had water stained carpet from the typhoons last year. I paid extra for a premium room with lounge access and breakfast. The breakfast wasn’t served till after I had to leave for work, and the day I could actually eat it, I couldn’t eat any of the food (breads, cold cereal, side salads, deli meat/cheese, yogurt and juice) because of dietary restrictions… I can’t believe that was $20+ a night. The server was kind enough to fill my coffee cup on Monday morning before the lounge opened, but I wasn’t able to use the self-serve espresso machine to make a decent cup of coffee. I tried also using The on-site exercise room, but it didn’t open until well after I left for the office, and closed shortly after dinner. So , I also wasn’t able to use that. The hotel seems like it used to be the must-stay-at destination 20 years ago, but it hasn’t been updated since then. Great views, good service, but sub-par amenities and rooms.

Our stay was perfect. Friendly staff, clean facilities and room and plenty to do and eat. The bfast buffet was delicious. I only wish the pool had longer hours. Other than that great place to stay. We will be back!

I stayed just 2 days with my friend. It was great to stay in the hotel and play at the pool. Above all, the hospitality of the hotel staff was awesome. Because he said to us “I want you guys to have fun” changed our checkout time from 12 to 3 pm and gave some gifts. So we spent the perfect 2 days you know. I'm glad his kind.

We left for dinner and our room was picked up but the extra towels we received earlier in the day were taken from our room and some of our things had been gone through.
