It was located right in downtown. Just few blocks from parliament. Parking was not difficult as other said in other reviews but it could be for those not used to underground parking or driving large vehicles. Hotel was really clean and staff was helpful. Fitness room is located in the basement. I would stay here again

Good location and courteous staff. Maid never cleaned the room indicating do not disturb sign was on - but I left at noon and showed proof of Uber call - so she just didn’t go back to check. Front desk was courteous and gave me towels coffee and water to bring to my room. Most considerate considering it was their staff oversight.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel, and can recommend it to another traveler. There were some minor issues at check in and with our room and the hotel management was very quick and diligent to be sure all the problems were corrected. We wish the issues never occurred but the hotels response was excellent. Most of the staff deserved 5 stars

Very disappointed The smell very bad! AC is very noisy

Helpful personable staff. Excellent, reasonable breakfast. Public spaces and rooms well designed. I'm in Ottawa preriodically and will return to ARC on the next visit.

Very loud air conditioning. Will go on every 30 minutes, so can wake you up at night..

I was promised a parking spot for the car coming in less than 2 hours for my spouse. I checked with the front desk staff a second time, maybe a half hour later and was told again that he is to go to front desk and they would direct him to this location. When he arrived, the staff told him they had no recollection and no spots available.

Great location! We walked to Parliament Hill, ByWard Market, and even the Canadian War Museum! Very pleasant and professional front desk staff. We really enjoyed our stay in Ottawa.

Great hotel

The room was smaller than I expected yet functional. It was clean and quiet though. The underground parking was very dusty and dingy. Access is controlled by a small, unmarked number pad at the top of the approach. They should not mention it when they give you the garage code. I drove down a steep embankment to the garage door and had to back up, not safe.

We enjoyed our stay at the Arc hotel. Walking distance to the market and other attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Maybe not the fanciest hotel in town. But, excellent staff that really makes me feel welcome. Service minded and helpful. Traveling alone I feel safe at this hotel. The room is nothing special, but has everything I need, comfortable bed, chair, desk, etc. Good internet so I could sit and work. The restaurant is easy acessibal and, once again, excellent service minded personel. The location is close to everything but far away enough to not be disturbed by loud nightlife.

My wife and I found this hotel to be quite comfortable. We almost didn’t book because of the bad reviews but I’m glad we took the chance. We stayed in the Intimate Queen Room. Although the room was small and perfect for a solo traveller, it was suitable for both of us as we travelled light with a single suit case. The bed was very very comfortable and the shower was decent. There’s a fridge but no microwave (you can request one if needed). The location was great ! Almost all the points of interest and restaurants was well within a 20-25 mins walk, some as close as 10 mins! You’re also about 2 mins walk from a Tims, Starbucks and a Second Cup! The hotel has parking for $25/night. There’s a 5’8” height restriction, anything bigger than a sedan will be a bit tight but not impossible. The parking is at the immediate right turn after the hotel. Someone was there to guide to the location which was helpful! It also has in/out privileges. The hotel isn’t wheelchair accessible, you do have to climb 4 steps to get inside. The staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel in general was clean and welcoming. Our plan in Ottawa was to explore the capital by day and have a good restful sleep at night. We were able to do exactly that. This and the other reasons mentioned above, we will definitely recommend to others.
