traffic in the area is nutz, but when we arrived the staff was awesome, complementary drinks & food after 5pm was also great, made my wife's days after a long crazy drive. Breakfast in the morning was also very good, staff were also helpful in the morning with directions to the Longhorns game.

Great value. I love Drury happy hour and breakfast included so I don’t need to go out to find food. EZ check in, secure parking, and a comfy king size bed. Everything I need. Room was huge, could have thrown a party, everything worked as it should. My only critical comment would be the outside of the windows on my 3rd floor room were dirty, obviously overdue for a wash.

Room was comfortable, however bathroom was not cleaned properly. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately very limited options to eat there if gluten free.

Went up for a quick trip with wife hotel offered everything we needed. Complimentary food was so so but was free so not bad. Would stay again

First night was not good, but the manager made it right. Pretty sureour sheets were washed with sheets full of dog hair. I itched all night, could not stay in bed. Hurd all 15 ambulances that raced down the road all night long. The walls were so thin you could hear everything from the room next to you..talking drawers closing, toilets flushing... We got moved to a suite on the back side of hotel for our second night. No noises and our sheets did not break me out or make me itch..but internet was out for 24 plus hours, so no TV or football games for the husband! Won't go back, but we survived..

I have stayed at this same hotel over 10 times and have never had an issue with noise. This time around, there was a lot of noise outside and a large dog barking inside the hotel.

I throughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The evening kickback was definitely the highlight for me. The staff was nice and everything was clean. The rooms could use some upgrading, but for the price that I paid it was expected. There are plenty of restaurants options within walking distance of the building. Getting out of the driveway of the building can be a bit tricky with on-coming traffic steadily coming, but if you know how to drive and practice patience, you should be fine. I would stay here again if I were in Austin.

The staff was friendly,the place was clean,breakfast wasn’t a big variety,parking lot was small and barely enough room for guest!! The worst part was everyone complained about the noise for the person setting up breakfast,instead of the table being picked up,they pushed them across the floors and it was around 6am when it started..Small rooms,small parking lot,the noise they make setting up breakfast at 6am is ridiculous and especially with being on vacation and being woke up early in the morning…

It’s close to shopping, the state Captial and food. The breakfast is expansive AND they keep the fountain drink machine on all day (score!!)

Problems with air conditioning

I love staying here at Drury inn Austin i 35 but for the second time i get in the shower and its not working. I was in shower tried pulling on the shower knob and it came off in my hand again by the time i got out and tried to use wash rags to clean myself i had to leave for a meeting hair dirty and not feeling my best. Maintenence did come in a few mins b4 i had to leave but it was to late but he did come quick, he seemed to know exactly what had happened and fixed it in 30 seconds i hope they can remedy it permanently not wait until another incident then come after the damage is done. I want to keep staying there i dont want calling Maintenence to become the normal.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful-super friendly and had lots of great recommendations, as well as helpful hints. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of Austin. The food, both breakfast and the “happy hour” snacks, were a full meal, and the bevvies were just as delicious as the snacks. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

I stayed in the Drury because it was convenient to St David's hospital and I was having surgery the next day. We were met at the desk by a very helpful and friendly desk guy (Jack?). I was especially worried about cleanliness. Imagine my surprise when I found a signed note from the person who cleaned my room. It was sparkling clean and so was the bathroom. When I asked for extra blankets for the beds, they appeared very quickly. Only guests can access the parking (with their room cards) and the whole area was surrounded by tall, spiked metal fencing. As if we didn't feel safe enough,it appears this facility is a favorite of Texas State Troopers, so there were several of their marked cars in the parking lot. On our future trips to our former home Austin, we will never stay anywhere else. As a bonus, the day we stayed, there was a free afternoon buffet, so we didn't even have to go out and face the traffic to eat. Great place!!!
