Building was old , but the room was clean. The WiFi was very weak and could not look at tv and YouTube at same time. It would be average at half the price.

Our rooms were not ready when we arrived. They said they will contact us when the second room was available, but they never did, I had to contact them after several hours. We were not informed that the hotel was under construction when we made the booking. One of the amenities they offered was the mini golf, but the course was unplayable, they probably think that they don't have to maintain the amenities seeing that it is included with the stay

The staff was friendly and helpful. Was not a terrible hotel. But our sheets were wet, which made it very uncomfortable. Every time we left the room we came back and everything was damp. Not sure if it’s some setting we were supposed to change on the air condition unit. Or just the beach air was super humid.

Hotel is currently on the market so operating with minimal amenities. Pool & miniature golf were not accessible and a part of the structure is out of service from a previous fire. The room was spacious and clean and the staff went out of their way to address my needs. Location is primo for visitors to Moody Gardens or the Water Park.

To turn on the bathroom light, you have to turn on the master light by the door. Beds (2Q) seem comfy. Beach theme. Seems expensive for what we got. Can’t see out our window. Lots of lumpy bumpy cement sidewalks & ramps to get to elevator to get to our room in back building otherwise would have to take stairs. Small breakfast from what we were told. Not many choices for those with dietary restrictions. Outlets were hit & miss on which would charge our phones & would KEEP charging them. tile missing in bathroom. Shower needs new water temp decal. To get to the pool you have to walk through the golf course b/c of construction. And unfortunately there’s water everywhere on the course. Not close to anything as far as other restaurants go - have to take an Uber or drive a ways.

There was blood stains on our sheets and the place smelt very old!!

Overall I was very happy with the room, pet friendly, very quiet rooms, kids liked the putt putt but it did need a lot of work to be considered nice but kids do not care and loved it. We had a lot of issues with key cards that I have never had ever in the hundreds of hotel stays I have a year. The area around is quite too and off the beaten path for this time of year. Waterpark are closed but was not our purpose of the stay. Overall I would stay again, just need to fix the key card issues.

It was okay. If the property were renovated, it would be great because of the location. We spent most of our time at Moody Gardens and other places. We would just come to the hotel and relax and sleep. Would probably stay somewhere else in the future unless they update the property.

Hotel was old but clean. Room was very spacious, but furnishings were dated. However, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We stayed one night before a cruise, and left our car there. Would definitely stay here again.

We appreciated the cleanliness and when we had a problem with the TV, they immediately sent somebody over to help us. It's an older motel, it looks like a renovation is going on, which you could use it, otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Mold in bathroom on walls. Air conditioner rattled all night. Average room.
