This is a basic hotel and though some parts have been updated, others are quite run down. For example it looks like the shower was redone but the corner you pass to go into the bathroom had chipped paint. This was not the case in my daughter's room a few doors down. Even with earplugs in my husband could hear someone snoring in the next room. There is a gazebo outside that is in disrepair. The owners were very friendly, serviced the room well and they provided a nice breakfast. The price for Thursday night was $105 which is about what I'd pay to stay there. Friday night the cost was $350 which seems excessive for the property. If you just want a place to lay your head, aren't that picky and are a very sound sleeper you might check this one out.

My room was smelly. There was visible dirt on the faucet and sink. It was ok.

Went off of others review that the room was clean and breakfast was good. It was exactly that way.

Rodeway suites were detached from the main building, but were secure and clean. TV service was limited, but free (meaning not many channels). Wifi was free, but open (not encrypted like most hotels), so make sure you use a software VPN. Wifi was fairly slow. Breakfast in the morning was basic but included for 2 people. Service was good, staff was friendly. For no frills, it was good. It saved us over $200 vs. Downtown Ithaca. :)

The hotel room was very clean but was not updated. The hotel itself was very dated and there were people making noise until after midnight in the hallway.

After reading reviews I booked here. The reviews we correct! The hotel was perfect for my needs. It was easy to spot from the road. Check in was simple and quick. The room was spacious and very clean. It was quiet and felt safe. Breakfast was good enough. Coffee was good. My only suggestion was that they have a step stool for short people to get onto the bed. It was waist high on me and i dont have much of a vertical jump! One other suggestion is to add a grab bar in the bath tub. Stepping over the wall of the tub can be tricky for older people. Having something to hang onto provides safety fir us!

This was a mini 3-day vacation for my husband and I to visit the many waterfalls in the Ithaca area. This hotel location was perfect for us as it was close to most of the places we wanted to go. It was also away from the city but close enough to reach restaurants in a few minutes. The road is very busy and very noisy, though the hotel is situated on a small hill back from the road so we didn't notice it too much at night There was a beautiful country road behind the hotel that we walked on in the evening. The hotel room was immaculate. I've stayed in many higher-starred hotels that were not half as clean as this one. The room and bed were comfortable, everything in working order and well-supplied with towels, soap, etc. The staff was friendly and eager to please.I had read in other reviews that the breakfast was exceptional but we found it to be usual hotel breakfast fare with plastic utensils, etc. It was OK but nothing different than the usual.The grounds leave a lot to be desired.There is no real landscaping and the buildings reminded me of storage units rather than a hotel. There were 2 outdoor gazebos with built-in benches that were in dire need of some paint. They were situated near the road so pretty noisy so it wasn't really relaxing to sit in them. The view was a parade of vehicles and a cemetery, which actually would have been nice to walk around in but trying to cross that busy road would be dangerous. Budget-friendly and convenient. Just needs some care outdoors.
