We enjoyed our stay staff were so polite

We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at The Venice Times for making our holiday and my husband’s 50th birthday truly memorable. From all the reception staff, the lovely ladies at breakfast and Danielo everyone went over and beyond to deliver an impeccable service!! The hotel is lovely clean and modern. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were comfortable in every manner and the staff were keen to help in any which way possible. The location was perfect. Literally minutes away from the hustle bustle down a quiet alley. At first it seemed we were far from San Marco however the walk was only about 30 mins which you didn’t notice as there was a lot of shops and eateries on the way!!! Breakfast at the hotel was nice. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely hotel for guests who appreciate modern interiors and amazing customer service and hospitality. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, right next to the train station. Room is clean and breakfast is abundant and delicious! Room is small which is not uncommon in Italy. Overall it is a good experience.

Highly recommend Venice times ! The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Location is a big positive being only 5 minutes from the train station and not having to worry about dragging our luggage through the streets of Venice. The one complaint is that the shower would leak water excessively. However, they gave plenty of towels to mitigate this issue.

Great location, easily get around but very quiet. newly renovated so the room is clean and modern. The only thing is the bathroom is little bit small for a large family but we were ok with that.

Wonderful experience in a perfect section of town. The front desk helped us get a water taxi to the airport which was so helpful!

Hotel and staff were amazing. Lady on reception was lovely and knowledgeable about the area. The two ladies and young man serving breakfast were attentive and always smiling. I have not been to any other hotel with such helpful staff. I cannot fault the hotel at all. Location was perfect and able to walk to see all the sites. I would definitely recommend it.

Great breakfast. Nice quiet location. Allowed for an early check in after a long flight, which was greatly appreciated. Nice bar, but wish it were open in the middle of the day as we came back and wanted a glass of wine and break from the heat, but it was closed. Overall, a great experience.

While the hotel itself was fine and in a good location, we would never stay at The Venice Times hotel again. During our first evening, we requested an ice bucket for a bottle of wine that we had purchased in Croatia a couple of days earlier and the hotel refused to provide it, stating that because we didn't purchase the wine from the hotel, they wouldn't accommodate us. Upon check-out, we found our invoice with an extra 10 Euro charge for two fried eggs, on top of the 25 Euro per person breakfast charge, despite being told during check-in that breakfast was 25 Euro per person. I tried to resolve this matter during check-out and was told that I needed to speak with the hotel manager who wasn't present. Upon our return, I corresponded with the hotel manager, who fabricated stories from her dining room staff that we were told about these extra charges, which simply wasn't true. She wasn't even present and she believed this these fabrications. In all my years of traveling, I've never experienced such pettiness and dishonesty from a hotel. There are plenty of other hotels in Venice and it would be better to steer clear of The Venice Times and stay somewhere else.

This hotel was perfect for our family and the staff were so friendly and great with our little ones! The location was perfect and it was very close to the water taxi station so we were able to get to other islands easily.
