Was dissapointed with the overall appearance of hotel, it is dated and pool too small for the amount of guests

outdated room furniture, old dirty floor/wall tiles, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, dirty old and too small shower curtain, toilet leaking. Restaurant too small and every evening we had to queue for dinner, and not too much to choose from.

The food was very good with alot of chioce however queue to get at meal time were terriblethe hot management need to think about having 2 sitting as restaurant not big enough to accommodate all the guests. Staff were all friendly and accommodating.

We had a really good time at Cartago nova. Room was absolutely spot less. They cleaned room everyday, bedsheets and towel was replaced daily too.
Air con in room was good. Room was quiet big as we stayed 2 adult and two kids. Pool and pool side area was really clean. Sun beds are old they should replace sun beds ASAP.
Staff are very friendly. Bar and restaurant staff was all happy to help you. Restaurant guys and other staff was really friendly. Food was ok as we are not fussy eater. Some people might find food selection was not great. All over good place to stay. Wasn’t sure before I made booking as there was lots bad reviews. All over we had great time and probably will go back and stay again.
