My husband and I are from Huntsville and every year on our anniversary we would stay at The Westin and eat dinner at Connors. We moved away 8 years ago and this was our first time back. We could not wait for the pampering we always felt staying there. First, we had to bring our dog. We get in the room, she goes under the bed and comes out with peanuts. THENNNN, she goes back under there and comes out with a rolled up DIRTY DIAPER!!! Seriously. We tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. The furniture was chewed up, the bathroom was dirty, the shower flooded on the floor, and we had the air at 68 and it wasn't anywhere near that. On the day we were to check out my husband went down to the lobby to get a cart and there were none. He went floor to floor looking for one and there were none. He asked the desk clerk for help and she told him he would just have to wait around. I paid $250 for this room. I have never spent that much money on a hotel room but thought it would be a nice getaway and help with the sadness of having to go home for a funeral. I won't ever step foot in there again.

Only real plus is is you want to stay right on Bridge Street for shopping and dining.
Lack of attention to detail. Bedside lamp had plugs and USB for charging. Only half of them worked.
In-room coffee maker not near an outlet. I had to get on the floor and crawl under the desk to find an outlet.
TV & remote would not work. Called front desk. Said they would send someone right up. Never came.
Stay at the Hyatt across the street.

We ended up booking another night and the hotel allowed us to stay in our current room instead of checking out and rechecking in for a different room, which made our stay much easier! I would definitely stay here again if im ever in the area.

We arrived at arrival time(3pm). We were told that the rooms were not available at this time. I ask how long it would be and the gentleman informed me that, "he would tell me like he had told the previous guests, he did not know, over an hour". So I ask him if I could leave my number and him give me a call when the room was ready. He wrote my number on a piece of paper with lots of scribble on it and my name. Needless to say, we still haven't gotten the call. After 2 hours, I kept trying to call and unless you are making a new reservation, you cannot talk to anyone. You have to go through your booking site. We were tired and after eating, we never checked in nor went back.

We couldn’t get into our room until 6pm. I had dinner reservations for 5pm so we had to carry the luggage with us. I was expecting to get the room around 3 or 4 and my husband could have showered and changed. They didn’t have any clean rooms so we had to wait. We did have this reservation for a month so I didn’t expect these types of issues.

Very disappointed in check-in process, forced to use app and to step out of line. Something which should only be a couple of minutes took over 15 minutes. Bathroom was very antiquated for such a pricey room, I expected much more from a Marriott.

Overall staying at this Westin was disappointing. The room was dirty - not cleaned properly. There was dust everywhere and water marks and soap scum on shower doors. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned - they came at 4 pm and did the bare minimum. They only removed the dirty towels and made the beds. The bathroom was not restocked with fresh towels or water bottles so I had to call several times for basic necessities.

Property conveniently located in a safe, upscale mall area with ample dining and shopping options. Facility looked a bit worse for the wear considering it’s a Westin. Beds were comfortable and there was a Starbucks onsite which was nice.

The hotel room were beautiful but where was no early check-in, the food was not so great beside the omelet and dessert. The outdoor bar area did not have staff it was closed. On the other hand, sitting in the outdoor area were very smoothing.

I took photos of the unvacuumed floor where there were even fake nails left. I left the property 30 minutes after checking in to shop and walk around nearby. I stood outside trying to find an employee (bartender left the pool for a long break at 4pm on Friday). I went to other gates. I had to walk .75 of a mile all the way around to the front of the property to get in. When I came inside, there were 8 people/parties in line to check in and only one employee there (Friday late afternoon). It was absurd. I am disappointed because the location is wonderful but I will not ever stay there again.

I enjoyed how convenient the location was to shopping and restaurants. I hate that housekeeping was not good and even after being called to clean a tub that they failed to clean the previous day, I had to call them and it took over 30 minutes to address after the second call.

Walkable outdoor mall attached to hotel with several dining options. Loved the indoor and outdoor pool and bar in lobby. Very posh and ritzy. Everything was new and clean. Even the air smelled good!

I absolutely love how quiet and peaceful the lobby was. The room had an amazing view. Thought the tub and separate shower option was nice. I ordered room service and they were amazing! However, I did get bit by something in my bed.. I also didn’t appreciate the half cleaning of the room. My room service was in my room for two days until i had to sit it outside in order for it to be picked up (which I was avoiding) I thought maybe at the time of my room being cleaned it would be taken out. Parking sucks but it’s okay. The place is well kept and very clean and quiet.
