We were given a roon that was extremely noisy apparently the ac was right above. We rang reception and they said they would move us straight away. An hour later we were still waiting and rang again no answer so had to go down the girl on reception knew nothing about it. Eventually we were given another room but we had to rush around like lunatics as we had reservations in 5 mins Totally spoilt our stay

Stayed here for a local night out , we have stayed before , a short walk into the centre . Close to shops and food places . Check in to check out was issue free . Would recommend .

Good location. The room need a bit of a makeover to refresh the Deco and colour. The breakfast was very average with a few selections of food. The bathroom didn't have air vent. After the shower the whole room was steamed up and damp. The mattress in the bed was awful. The most uncomfortable bed that I evet slept in. I felt absolutely exhausted after waking up loads of times at night due to the discomfort. The staff are friendly and nice.

Great hotel great location, just got no sleep because of a yapping dog. Complained in the morning and they told me I should have called reception and changed rooms… at 2.30 in the morning, like it was my fault which made me feel even worse. I don’t think anyone would be up for changing rooms at that hour. Disappointing stay.

It seems like the standards have dropped in recent months.
Room service is not great, you pay more and get less compared to a few months ago.
I was being charged for breakfast although I had already paid for it when booking, so I had to provide proof before it was deducted.

However it was not serviced during my two day stay. On the whole the food was good, but i did have one sandwich with chicken that was partly uncooked. They have to remember that not everyone is electonically knowledgeable.

First of all they couldn't find our details even though we had the email and booking reference. Secondly, we were told we had not paid for breakfast even though our booking clearly included it. These issues were rectified with apologies from the team but shouldn't have happened in the first place.
