WOW! Such a beautiful house and guest room - I stayed in a bigger room (#1) which had a living room, a gas fireplace as well as a kitchen! I didn't realize I was getting all of that. There was an outdoor space with a grill as well! I will be back!!! Quality linens and towels! Lovely Host! Offered AMAZING dining options. Mahone Bay is a gem and so is the Magnolia Inn!

I recently stayed at the Magnolia Inn and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The renovations they’ve made to this historic house are stunning, blending modern comfort with its charming heritage. The rooms were immaculate, and the attention to cleanliness was top-notch, making the stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast was another highlight. It was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, it provided the perfect start to the day. I’m already planning to stay there again on my next visi to Nova Scotia. If you’re looking for a place that offers both history and comfort, Magnolia Inn is an excellent choice.

I received a message from the owner at 10:30 at night saying there was a lot of noise going on in our room. I had previously been talking to my daughter in face time and sh said she could hear my voice in the kitchen downstairs. Her message to me was harsh and uncalled for. If they do not allow talking in your room then they should put it on their website. A shared bathroom, no Tv, no air conditioning, there was one in the closet but not hooked up. Taking your shoes off every time you went into the house was ridiculous. They had a white carpet on the stairs going up to your room. From what I could see, all the rooms on our floor had ac and a tv

I am glad that we chose to stay in Mahone Bay instead of Lunenburg, our initial plan.This property is one of the most beautiful we ever stayed. We booked deluxe studio suite; it was like a home away from home. The hosts were very welcoming and share suggestions regarding restaurants, cafe, local shopping. The breakfast was like everything else, excellent.
I highly recommend this property.
Mahone Bay is worth stopping by.

Really enjoyed the quiet privacy of the suite. Craig & Laurie were very accommodating including welcoming guests as they arrived and providing a lighter for the candle in our suite. Fabulous decor and ambiance. Great attention to detail and consideration for all amenities provided for all guests. Fragrant hand soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner were provided. Loved the organization of remotes for the fans, air conditioner etc. labelling for lights also very helpful.
We would definitely recommend as a fabulous place to stay.

I had a fantastic experience at the Magnolia Inn. The problem with this review is that there are only five stars to choose from! The breakfast was delicious, fresh and the perfect amount. The best croissant I have ever had. The owners are very personable, respectful and helpful. The Magnolia Inn is now on my list to bring my family and visit the next time we are in NS. Amazing!

The room we stayed in had everything we needed from wine glasses, a cork screw, bath robes and a mini fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. They did an incredible job designing each room. The shower was our favourite part.
The breakfast was delightful. The first morning we had coffee, juice and a bagel with cream cheese and salmon. They also had a choice of jams if you preferred. The second morning they had individual quiches, buttery croissants fresh from the oven, in addition to a delicious yogurt parfait.

The hosts were amazing! The Inn was clean and the room was incredible. Ensuite was huge with rain shower and nice amenities. The King bed was very comfortable and nice to have small fridge in room. Breakfast was delicious.

Very convenient, you do have to drag your bags up the stairs, the stairs did had a rug so you won't slip. One room, as of Aug 2024 is a shared bathroom with another guest, so be aware. I did not share because all rooms were not taken, Craig says they will be putting in another bathroom late 2024. Very accommodating for vegan breakfast, very forth coming on what to see and do, like the Historical Gardens in Annapolis Royal which was an amazing walk about. Ask Craig anything they have done it all.

The service was awesome, gorgeous house, very well maintained, beautiful decor, the couple was very sweet and super nice, they made us feel like special guests, delicious breakfast, me and my husband were impressed, we highly recommend this place .😃
