Good place for stay. We got to meet a few people and hear about their experiences. Options to make breakfast was very nice. Clean and decent size bed with nice amenities.

The owner was kind enough to allow us to check in early, room was ready and waiting for us. Unique was having to take the shoes off at the entrance and walk bare feet (or with the socks on) throughout the hotel. Our names/rooms were posted on the entrance door, too. It seemed odd at first but we were amazed how clean everything was. Our room shared the 2 hallway bathrooms with other guests and I have to say that those two rather large bathrooms were much, much cleaner than most people keep it in their own homes. Everybody seemed to be considerate of everybody. Same for the kitchen. Our room did not have a TV (there was one in the lobby and some other guests were watching it), but we didn't mind. We were vacationing, we were out and about, and not having a TV in the room did not bother us at all. Overall, never stayed in a hotel like this, but I will give it 5 stars. Thank You. The cleanliness was astounding, the proximity to anything was perfect, we were satisfied. PS: For a little more money, you can get a room with your own private bathroom. We didn't need it, only stayed for one night.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay and chose a room with twin beds. Shared bathrooms were clean and convenient. Common areas were comfortable. Setting is a quiet neighborhood which felt safe. Would gladly stay there again.

Outstanding! The bedrooms are comfortable and there are many shared bathrooms and showers to use. The communal kitchen is clean, modern, and has everything you could want to use. This place is like a guest house for responsible adults

We had a small but comfortable en-suite bedroom. The real attraction of this property is the shared sitting, dining and kitchen area which allows different groups to meet and socialise. The kitchen is well equipped and also there are good laundry facilities which we found useful. The location is a 20 minute or so walk from Talkeetna, but we enjoyed the walk, which although on roadsides feels quiet and safe. Talkeetna itself is a great small town with food and drink options and great walks.

The property is unique in that the restrooms and showers are not in your room but rather they’re at the end of the row. It was comfortable and we had no issues at all.

The power was out when we were there. They were one of the few that had a generator for the building. So nice not to worry about it.

Cute little town and property. Shared kitchen, bathrooms, living room. We did not stay long but was fun to talk with other housemates on their plans for their trips. Access to washer and dryer. We saw a mama moose and her baby one evening eating by the road. The next morning saw the baby moose standing in a nearby driveway. We did have a clear view of Denali at the viewpoint in town and got some amazing pictures.
