There are 3 Comfort Inns in Warnambool. We went to the first two to discover they did not have our booking. the 2nd motel rang Comfort Inn Western, where again they did not have a booking under Perry. we then had to book elsewhere. Yesterday I got a call from Comfort Inn Western to see why we hadn't arrived. They had booking under Mr Andrew, which is my christian name. I know Asian people do refer to people formally by their Christian name but that is not my fault! I was told I could not get a refund. Fair to say I will not be booking any of your motels again

Quite an average stay, not sure how they've got such a high rating, seems more like a 3.5/4 star stay. There was black mold in the shower, and stains on the bedding. Was okay for the price, though not as good as we were expecting. Overall okay. Would rate, personally, 3.5/4 star hotel.

This was a wonderful place to stay at. Check-in was nice and smooth. Overall I would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this place, the place needs upgrading, especially the bathroom ceiling. Staff we're very friendly and helpful. it is a great place to stay at, walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the beach. And short drive to a lot of good places to visit, sightseeings.

The bathroom floor was sticky. There was no shower gel in the shower. Very poor lighting in the unit, and light switch over the kettle wouldn’t work. Very difficult to try to fill the electric kettle at the bathroom sink. Would definitely not recommend.

Great location- proximity to the railway station is very good. Staff were super helpful as I had booked the wrong date but they had capacity to accommodate us and alter our booking without charge. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Nice room. Located near flagstaff hill. Supermarket next door. All good.

The room was as expected. Recently had a remodel so clean and comfortable. Good use made of the space. Shower had a rain shower head which was nice with good hot water supply. One of those shallow square basins which makes filling the kettle tricky. Good linen. Comfy bed. Good wifi. There’s a coffee shop next door for breakfast and coffee - it closes early though. One issue we had hasn’t been addressed by the management. I sent them an email to say that our service for the room was very late - 4:30pm. We were in the room when she knocked on the door resting between our days activities and going out for dinner. When she asked to clean the room we said we’d go out. We were keen to get a service as we’d missed out the previous day as it was also late in the afternoon and my husband was having a nap at the time. We returned to the unit a couple of hours later to collect something for dinner to find the door open! Luckily nothing was taken but made us feel uneasy about how seriously they take security. I emailed them via the app to see what they had to say but still waiting for a response.

Property was ok but nothing special, fridge had “exploded” beer bottle and all other drinks were frozen. Staff cleaned it up quite quickly once notified. Walkable distance to shops, pubs & eateries.

Although the hotel was built some decades ago it had been recently renovated to a good standard, given that it still retained the layout of the older motel style of the 70's or so. Parking was rather limited and tight.
