Horizon club was good. A good room makeup. Very food bedding. Power shortage including elevator stop several times everyday. Very dangerous hotel limo driver for airport pickup. Attitudes of staffs at cafe B and gym are quite bad. Meals at Saffron was too salty and mo change even after complaints for whole dinner course.

Experience is not so good and to some extent, I would say unexpected:
1) Interaction with front desk staff at midnight wasn't expected at this level of hotel. He needs serious grooming & especially on customer interaction & choice of words.
2) On next morning, I left at 9:30AM and around 4:30PM while crossing the hotel during my journey from South to North of the city, I thought of dropping few stuff. But surprisingly found that the room hasn't been serviced. I asked a carpet cleaner, who was then working just outside my room; he responded that I should have informed front desk while leaving. Understood that he is also another untrained member of the team.
3) Though hotel has 6 lifts in the lobby but most of the guests didn't respect the privacy of other members. Lifts were often too crowded and giving a feel of shopping mall or office lifts. Hotel could have deployed a person to manage the crowd. I finally decided to enter a lift with 2 other guests but then 3 more people accommodated themselves! No one had time for another 40-50 seconds. A lapse from hotel management.
4) I had to extend my stay for one more night. Though I completed my formalities in the morning before leaving the hotel at 7:15AM, my access key hadn't been updated. So, I had redo that at 8PM...at a gap of more than 12 hrs after being refused lift access.
5) In continuation of #4; my wifi hadn't been updated. Finally realised that my choice was wrong & decided not to bother any further.

Thi is BY FAR the best hotel experience I have had in my many visits to Bengaluru and other cities in India. The front desk staff is EXCELLENT. The property is beautiful and very flexible for meetings and events. I had an event in the Saffron restaurant and the Service Staff and food was exceptional. I am so grateful for the extra care and kindness I received. Thanks you all for such a beautiful & stress free experience!

Thi is BY FAR the best hotel experience I have had in my many visits to Bengaluru and other cities in India. The front desk staff is EXCELLENT. We stayed 2 nights at the property with our 1 year old. From the moment we stepped out of the car we received near perfect service. The staff from the reception, restaurant to the club lounge were always attentive, accommodating to our needs an made sure we were comfortable at all times. The room was also clean and very comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious.
I want to make special mention of a few staff members that made our stay an especially happy one - Dharini from the front desk checked us in and suggested an upgrade to the club floor. She personally escorted us to the rooms so we can view them and choose and we ended up opting for the upgrade which we do not regret. She was always there to help us and even organized food for our child when we arrived. We were also served by Shikha at the Horizon Lounge who catered for our every need including providing kid friendly options during cocktail hour. Ravichandra from the housekeeping department also made sure our room was always comfortable and fully stocked. He even helped bring our bags down himself when he could have called for the porter - this is GOOD service!
Very rarely do I write positive reviews but our stay at the hotel has convinced us to visit Bangalore just for the hotel. We will be sure to be back very soon. Thank you to your amazing staff!

Whilst I cannot fault the room and bathroom, which were marvellous, our stay left a lot to be desired. As it was New Year's Eve, there were only NYE package food and beverage options meaning no option to go to any restaurant venue for an early a la carte meal, which we had not been warned about. Also, it was incredibly loud until 2am with thumping music, which again would have been nice to know (and they knew we had to catch a 4:20am car to the airport so perhaps they could have offered to put us in a quieter part of the hotel, if there was such a place). I do appreciate that our disappointing experience may be largely attributable to the fact that it was NYE and the hotel guests seemed to cater exclusively to NYE revellers, but there seemed to be no consideration for guests who were not interested in partying into the wee hours and / or who had an early morning flight. Lastly, having stayed at other Shangri-La properties, I noticed a distinct attitudinal difference with the staff at this hotel who were, at best, perfunctory.

This is possibly the best property I lived in India so far; its amazingly excellent.
I stayed in a 11th floor room with panorama view which was beautiful with little-above-the-floor to ceiling glass walls in 2 sides of the room. Room services were prompt & efficient, as well as in-room dining; a special mention to Besuto.
Fitness center is very well equipped with sufficient free weights, ropes, weight training machines for arms, lat, shoulder, chest, legs, squat bar & cardio options. Loved the section with complimentary jacuzzi, steam, sauna - really well maintained & spacious. The rooftop pool area leaves with a soothing ambiance.
I tried the Japanese on-prem restaurant, Yataii, which was good. Otherwise the food price came across very expensive including the breakfast buffet. Only suggestion, they might want to add an option of oats & almond milk for in-room breakfast.
In short, it was a wonderful stay & highly recommended.

Frankly a world of its own especially if you have executive lounge accesss. Hotel was super clean, super maintained and staff super efficient.

The property is really clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the services like pool, gym, lounge and restaurant were great too. The location is also nice and has a lot of good places in the vicinity.

Since there can be guests who are travelling alone, even after requesting specifically for single portion food items, the service didn’t serve it.
Anything which isn’t single portion in this case is difficult to consume and seems like a waste food and money.
Providing fruits in room is a nice touch and appreciated.

The hotel was excellent!
From check in to check out. The hotel is spotless. The room was great, spacious and relaxing.
The in room dining was great too.
The breakfast spread was quite elaborate and had many cuisines.
Definitely a must experience hotel! Even for a staycation.
